I'm guessing ...

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Poor Dave! I feel for ya, buddy. You're not gettin' out of this one...

message 3: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell Who are you guessing, Sally?

message 4: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell Not that I'd tell you if you're right.

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
I'm guessing Montambo. Or Jackie. One of those ever-fetching librarians.

message 6: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
C'mon! You are SUCH a tease.

message 7: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell I will tell you it's not someone who's married.

message 8: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) He didn't say it was a woman. Maybe it's a man crush.

message 9: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell Wishful thinking, Larry?

message 10: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Quit pickin' on Dave. A man's crush is his own business.

I got your back, San Diego!

message 11: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I'll never tell.

message 12: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
a-ha!

message 13: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I know who it is. I'm psychic. I'm not telling...

message 14: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) C'mon Sally. Spill it.

message 15: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
Heidi knows, Heidi should spill.

message 16: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Did you say it's Heidi?

message 17: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
Don't we all sort of have GR crushes, though? You know, those people who make you squeeee! when they come onto a thread and add the perfect two cents?

message 18: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Sure.

message 19: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments I think it's someone who lives in a land far, far away. And I don't mean Arkansas.

message 20: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments What's wrong with Arkansas, Kork!!!?

message 21: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
Kork! The Heidi has joined the Kork bandwagon! You just made my day, girl.

message 22: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I've been tempted to call him "Kock" a few times, but it doesn't stick like "Kork" does.

Isabella, bite your tongue.

message 23: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments It is to some people, Isabella. But I love Arkansas! And I love The Heidi! Kork, not so much. But that's okay. I was just putting in my vote for Dave's crush. Hint: 23.

jes sayin

message 24: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I love you, too, Kork. :)

message 25: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments I also love Black Oak Arkansas, but only on vinyl.

message 26: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments The Ozarks are pretty spectacular.

message 27: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments Dutch girl! You should come around more often. We'll give you an obscene nickname sooner or later.

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh my
::bites tongue and runs away before he says something stupid::

message 29: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments why does "Kock" not stick?

Hmmm.... That sounds like a trick question to me. I'll just say it's all about engineering and angles.

And yes, I am thinking what you're thinking I'm thinking, Isabella.

The Heidi: I like Ozark Mountain Daredevils, too.

message 30: by Heidi (last edited Jan 30, 2009 12:09PM) (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments "Kock" just doesn't have the panache that "Kork" does... Kork rhymes with so many other words that I adore -

dork, spork, fork (my G-rated adaptation for the F word), Bjork, pork, torque, New York, Mork from Ork (shazbot), cork (cuz duh)... the list goes on.

message 31: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I'm sure he's referring to the Terminalcoffee group collective.

message 32: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I meant the collective "We", not the royal "We". I use italics when I mean the royal "we".

We are not amused, Isabella

Fair proof that I'm psychic!

just when I escaped from the Borg!!

Do tell!

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Krikers, didn't even know that, it's changed now.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

no, I changed my profile, Popeye is indestructible.

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17320 comments Mod
Lordy, Peeps. Y'all did some WORK on this thread while I was in class.

Kirk, you're breaking my heart with your "Kork, not so much" comment. Man! I first called you Kork because you were a letter off in my name, technically two, and you endorsed WHATEVER name I wanted to give you.

Sad, sad times when I find out my pet, beloved name is now "eh, not so much."

*sniffles*

message 38: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Aw. That's so sad.

message 39: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments I'm just kidding, Sally. I like that name! Plus I deserved it for getting yours wrong. Kork brings out the Cro-magnum in me. I may go invent the wheel tonight. Or save Raquel Welch from a Tyro-Rex. Whichever comes first.

message 40: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell It's not Isabella.

It was probably not a good idea to put that in my "25 things."

message 41: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Aw Dave. I thought it was fun. No one should be compelled to reveal crushes. It ain't right.

Books Ring Mah Bell I think I know!!!
:)

East coast or West Coast, Dave?

message 43: by Dave (last edited Jan 31, 2009 11:50AM) (new)

Dave Russell BRMB, that would narrow it down too much. No more clues.

Larry, It's not that I'm bothered by it.

message 44: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) OK good.

Books Ring Mah Bell East Coast!!!!

:)

message 46: by Dave (new)

Dave Russell I don't want my silence to again be taken as an affirmation, so I'll just say maybe, maybe not.

message 47: by Books Ring Mah Bell (last edited Jan 31, 2009 02:27PM) (new)

Books Ring Mah Bell It's not a man, duh?

;)

message 48: by Dave (last edited Jan 31, 2009 04:07PM) (new)

Dave Russell That's very clever. :)

Again, don't take my silence as a yes. If I keep saying it's not person X Y or Z, you'll eventually winnow it down, so I'm not saying no and I'm not saying yes.

message 49: by Kirk (new)

Kirk | 154 comments I think it rhymes with Reprimanda.

message 50: by Dave (last edited Jan 31, 2009 04:12PM) (new)

Dave Russell I just edited my last post.
