Hi, I just joined this group since I love mystery. I read different genres but mystery/crime/thrillers have always been what I go to most. I don't like romance except for the old gothic romance novels which are really mysteries to me. I've always worked a lot so I never had much time to actually read the books I bought. Now that I'm not working I'm slowly going through the books I have and TRYing not to buy any new ones (which seems to be impossible) until I make some room. I hope to make some mysterious friends in here.

I an the exact same way... Except I still don't have a whole lot of time to read because I'm working 2 part-time jobs. I just joined the group too so maybe w can tackle it together :-).

I was a CNA (nurses aide) and worked at the hospital as an endo tech. I loved my job so I've been pretty sad for a while. Reading sure helps that a lot. I finally realized I have time to read!
It's really nice to meet some great people in this group. I love just looking up all the authors I haven't heard of and new author's books.
I am a newbie as well. Thought it would be great to have discussions with like-minded readers!! I read a bunch of different genres, but murder mysteries and crime dramas are my favorites. I'm even writing a crime drama, so maybe someday we'll be able to read mine!
