The Strange Invaders by Alun Llewelyn - not really similar but involves dinosaurs back from the past. The Strange Invaders
Jurassic Park is the most similar book I can think of.

For a bizarre twist on the dino genre', check out by Brett Davis. It combines aliens & dinosaurs with the Old West.

There's a dinosaur book called Raptor Red by Bakker. He was a consultant for the Jurassic Park movie. It's not a human-dinosaur blend. Tells the story back in prehistoric times about a raptor. Pretty interesting. There's still dinosaurs
