Matthew R I have found a slightly worn, embossed, leather effect fabric bound AND with two illistrated plates at the front and illistrated letters at the front of each chapter of The Lady Of Provence book. 'A Lady Of England' obviously wrote this and I wish to know more about this book in particular as a fellow current author. I am not an avid follower of classic books but found this by chance in a charity shop, was captivated by it and sincirely beleive it was worth more than the 50p I bought it for which almost seems disrespectful. The book is dedicated to a lady by the sirname of Appleby who lived in Chelmsford in a street I either cannot decifer or the 'drive' they lived in no longer exists but it was given as a prize for a scripture exersise in 'Little Heaven' or 'little Haues' in March 1900. Any information on this would be highly apreciated. Thank you.
