I, like everyone, am interested to see HBO's Ramsay Bolton. I bet they choose someone crazy handsome (just like all the other young men on the show). I can't wait to see Theon, how they make him look after being subject to Ramsay's crazies.

They will write him in, most like. Or include his scenes from the next book, in a way.
I'm contemplating the "makeup" creations for Cat and Theon in the future.I'd love to be there for that.

No one wants to see Ygritte naked? She is the prettiest girl on the show really, much prettier than Dany.
As far as I remember from the book, the Bastard of Bolton was ugly. And I imagine him as a big, massive man.Ha, ha, Ygritte is nice, but if I had a choice, I would like to see naked Jon. :P (I am not fond of the character but the actor looks GOOD!)
Yeah Game of Thrones doesn't shy away from showing full frontal male nudity. I remember Theon showing off his weenie once, had to look away :DYeah, Ygritte looks great. Was very pleasantly surprised to see such a beauty in that role. And her Scottish accent always gets me.
I think Cersei is the most beautiful woman on the show. But Ygritte is pretty too and younger. ;)
Talisa gets my vote for most beautiful. She's a new character for the series (replaces Jeyne Westerling) but Martin gave her the name.
I would have to say Dany is the most beatiful. And Catelyn is the ugliest lol.

Yes, I agree, "Cersei" looks better with dark hair. Strong character and cynicism are written all over her beautiful face, I like it. :) Perfect Cersei!Dany is beautiful, but... I don't know... I like more distinctive beauties and she is a bit dumpy (not sure it is a good word in English). :P

Casting, has been difficult, there are so many from the original pilot that have been replaced. On the web here's a list of actors that had to be replaced for one reason or another.
at the back of my mind, i'm hoping Tom Hiddleston be included. I want him to be Ramsay Bolton! But he can't be ramsay lol
I noticed no one put Sansa in the beauty contest. In the first season she manages to be both dull and petulant and neither of these is charming. She reminds us of the popular elite girl at school, and then she's quite vulnerable, and then a lot more interesting as she uses her wits (saving Dontos). And she IS pretty.
Well I find her a bit young to consider here. She is pretty though.
I really missed Jojen and Myra Reed in the second season. They are great characters.
I just want to see any thing really....I am easy to please.
Jojen and Meera for sure since I was sulking over the fact that they actually omitted them from the 2nd season :/ Plus I wish to see Daario if it's possible because it's always been hard for me to imagine him and even more hard for me to imagine him with Dany...their relationship was kind of sudden and I don't really understand why Dany loves him...

Looking forward to seeing Jojen and Meera Reed, as well as the new guy who plays Beric Dondarrion. Ramsay Snow/Bolton will also be one to behold(i hope). Bald Jaime would also be kind of cool, when I think of it.

From what I have experienced with show vs book and characters, I have been pleased with casting. FOr the most part, everyone has looked the way I would picture them. Only exception is Stannis...he didn't look the way I pictured him. But he plays the part well.
I am also looking forward to seeing Mance. It will be glorious!

Not a new character, but I'm most excited for Arya! I especially loved her Harrenhal from Season 2, but her 3 is going to be leagues beyond that - if they include all of her story from the book! I'm actually kind of surprised they've fleshed her story out as much as they did. I know she's an important POV for the plot away from King's Landing/the central story, but it's still surprising to me. I'm hoping for one scene in particular - her "how many, how many, how many" scene at the inn! Definitely my favorite Arya moment of the entire series so far.

It's not a new character but I can't wait to see more of Brienne and Jamie, they are probably the best odd-couple ever.

Hopefully they do some really dramatic stuff with the cinematography!

Hi all. I'm new to this forum and a seriously obsessed fan of GRRM. To answer the question, I'm looking forward to seeing Dario and Beric Dondarion. I think Dondarion had a brief spot in season two, but definitely not memorable. I really want to they will bring his undead-like self to life. I'm really afraid to see how they will do the 'red wedding' though. I don't want to be heartbroken all over again.

MariusAs far as I recall, she said it he once, and yeah, was awesome. Intonation, meaning, expression, everything was spot on.
Counting the days till I can get season 2 on DVD "I HAZ NO CABLE" .....(sob) so..... 3 more days....yay!
I see a lot of people mentioning Vargo Hoat - is he really going to appear in Season 3? I'd love to see him, of course. But he hasn't been mentioned in any of the lists of characters for Season 3 that I have seen.I'm really looking forward to seeing Jaime's story, and whether HBO can pull off what GRRM did so masterfully: changing Jaime into a sympathetic character. Also, a small prediction: I doubt he will be bald. In the books, Dany's hair burned off in the fire at the end of AGoT, but on the show it didn't. Same for Jaime, I think. Making your attractive actors bald is generally avoided on the screen.
