Barbara ★ Cherie,
the schedule ends on Monday 11/26 (week 12). We're going to need week 13 soon in order to pick a winner.

message 302: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I googled nfl schedule and found all the weeks listed.

message 303: by Barb (new)

Barb Here's the link to the week 13 games: NFL Week 13 You can find the other weekly lineups by clicking on the week # at the top of the page.

message 304: by Barbara ★ (new)

Barbara ★ I should have been able to do that but never even thought about it. duh.

message 305: by Barb (new)

Barb I frequently overlook the obvious! LOL

message 306: by Lindsay (last edited Nov 19, 2012 07:41PM) (new)

Lindsay (lindz2012) | 36 comments I am updated on all score though Week 11 with a total of 61 points

My Predictions are picked though Week 15 with Tasked completed

message 307: by Christie (new)

Christie | 24 comments Leslie and Barb thanks for the suggestions I think I am going to read Thunder and Rain because it is the one out of the two my library has.

message 308: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) @Barb - I never thought to post the link! Duh for me, too! The obvious obviously eludes me as well.

@Lindsay - way to go!! I've picked too many books I haven't read yet. I'm a little frustrated with myself.

@Christie - that looked like a good one. I've added it to my TBR.

Another crazy week in football. So many quarterbacks injured, 3 overtimes on Sunday. Even though I picked the Cowboys for the challenge I just could not cheer for them. And I changed channels (to watch the Saints!)when there was just a little time left and Cleveland looked to have it. And then I find out the Cowboys won in overtime. So sad!!

message 309: by Barb (new)

Barb I had to work on Sunday, so I missed most of the games this weekend. But I was able to watch the Bumblebees .... errrr, the Steelers .... Sunday night. I really think they ought to bury those uniforms, they are sooooo hideous!

message 310: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) My cousin, who is from Pittsburgh, called them vile. I couldn't watch the game. It was too painful to look at.

message 311: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleycw) For the record (as a Steelers fan), I don't mind the tops- as weird as they are, they don't bother me that much- I HATE the tan pants that they wear with them. If they wore black pants, I wouldn't have a problem with them.

I also think the socks were too much.

message 312: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) You are right, Ashley. Black pants would be better and it is the socks that are the worst. The pants don't even look like they fit well. They sag in weird places. Oh well, hopefully two games is enough. But Pittsburgh has more to think about than uniforms. Looks like Charlie Batch is your quarterback.

message 313: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleycw) I have faith in Charlie Batch. He's a great back up. I just hope he's healthy. He hadn't been dressing until this last game.

message 314: by Lindsay (new)

Lindsay (lindz2012) | 36 comments My predictions are all picked. Tasks are all finished and dated up to week 16

My score is updated though week 12

message 315: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Way to go, Lindsay!!

message 316: by Christie (new)

Christie | 24 comments okay I have been slacking alittle on pick the books and stuff but I still feel the need to pick a team every week in the hope of finding some time to catch up with all of this soon. So my pick for today is the Raiders.

Barb Cherie, just to be sure I understand correctly: The team tasks will be the same for the play offs as for the regular season? We can use as many "extra points" for each game as we want? And we have until the challenge ends to post all of our points/books? Does the challenge go all the way through the Super Bowl, or just up TO the Super Bowl?

Chaitra (chaitra_ganesh) | 180 comments Barb wrote: "We can use as many "extra points" for each game as we want?"

I know the answer to this. Yes. I hadn't known that and was choosing one extra task only, but in the middle of the game I figured out that we can do all 8 tasks in a week, but it was such a job fitting my books into the extra tasks, so I gave up midway, lol. I'll probably try retrofitting again closer to Super Bowl.

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I totally forgot to pick for the wild card games yesterday. How do I rectify that?

Christie | 24 comments Crap crap crap...I realized when I was out watching the games that I did not make a prediction so I will have to for tomorrow's games. I am just upset because the two teams I wanted to win and the one I would have pick won or is winning today...Well I am going to pick the Seahawks even though they are an underdog...they have momentum.

I will update my post this week hopefully with next weekend too. And one of the books I am having trouble finishing.=/

PS...I would love to see the Pats lose this round.=/

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) I will make predictions for the Championship games and the Superbowl since I totally forgot to make a prediction for the other post season games. I'm so behind on reading my books though!!
