Yes to both of these questions Barb. You can use the same task as long as you read two different books and as long as the main word in the title matches an initial I'll accept it.

Cherie (cheriereads) So sorry everyone! I've been a little bit absent this past week. We've had a very busy start to the school year with my son. Much busier than I anticipated!

My goal for today is to get the schedule updated with winners/losers, update everyone's points and add the next few weeks to the schedule.

message 203: by Barb (new)

Barb Thanks Cherie! Even though it's been several years, since I had to deal with it, I remember how crazy the beginning of the school year can be, so I certainly understand craziness :)

Cherie (cheriereads) Ashley, in your initial post you have an Extra Point listed for week 1 but no task or book for it listed. If you did an extra task could you update the original post as well? Thanks!

message 208: by Cherie (new)

Cherie (cheriereads) Brianna, in your original post you have 12 points listed but I only see tasks finished that equal 9 points. Could you double check it? Thanks!

message 209: by Cherie (new)

Cherie (cheriereads) Ok, everyone! The schedule has been updated with a couple more weeks and the winners of last week's games. The points have also been updated. As of right now, Leslie has taken the lead with 25 points.

If your point totals do not look correct, please check your original posts (the ones I linked to at the very beginning) and make sure you have marked your tasks as complete with the read dates. If it's still incorrect let me know and I'll take a look.

Christie | 24 comments I am picking the next two weeks on whim this time....see if it works...need to get these books back to the library lol.

message 246: by Barb (new)

Barb LOL You'll probably have more success that way than I've had by trying to make "educated" choices!

message 247: by Barb (new)

Barb Another question for you, Cherie: When we're looking for players' initials in the title letters of a book, do subtitles count, or only the main title? For example, in Tough Cookies: Leadership Lessons from 100 Years of the Girl Scouts, do we look just for T and C? Or do we also consider L, L, O (for 100), Y, G and S?
