Hardback is due out in March 2013. Haven't seen an eARC yet, but maybe in a couple months.

I don't mind at all, I know the last couple of his books have been like that, waxing more into the social and mechanics than what the rest of the series has been about. I think it would have been easier just to do a couple side books to toss all this into and keep the main story going.
