Jozlin ;-} | 94 comments Hi, I am Jozlin and I love soccer it is the best sport ever. I play for rec and I also Ref U6 up to U9. It is sooo fun because I get to make money for doing something that I love. My favorite soccer team is Real Madrid. My favorite player is Cristiano Ronaldo or "Pretty Boy" as I call him.

message 153: by Jozlin ;-} (new)

Jozlin ;-} | 94 comments Thanks. Do you have a favorite player?

message 154: by The Phantom (new)

The Phantom (zerosummations) | 8 comments Lionel Messi!
(The best player in the world!)

message 155: by Jozlin ;-} (new)

Jozlin ;-} | 94 comments Ya he is my secoundt favorite player.

message 156: by The Phantom (new)

The Phantom (zerosummations) | 8 comments Good. I would love to say Ronaldo's my second, but I'm too much of a patriot. Joe Hart and Wayne Rooney come in next. Ronaldo can have fourth.

message 157: by The Phantom (new)

The Phantom (zerosummations) | 8 comments Man U? Glory hunter.
Beckham's retired now, so he doesn't really count in my book. But yes, in his prime he was amazing.

message 158: by The Phantom (new)

The Phantom (zerosummations) | 8 comments Hmmm. It depends. Why do you support Man U?

I support Leeds United, that being my home team, and of course England at an international level.

message 159: by The Phantom (new)

The Phantom (zerosummations) | 8 comments I don't see it as hatred - it certainly isn't from me. Its usually simple harmless banter, and the fact remains that many people only support clubs that win, and only because they win...

message 160: by Jozlin ;-} (new)

Jozlin ;-} | 94 comments Ya Beckhem was really good! The best thing in the world would be to be able to curve the ball the way he did.

message 161: by The Phantom (new)

The Phantom (zerosummations) | 8 comments Yeah. I'd prefer Messi's skills.

message 162: by Jozlin ;-} (new)

Jozlin ;-} | 94 comments If you had both Messi and Beckhems skills you would be the best player in the world and then add Ronaldos shots there would be no stopping you.

message 163: by Peter (new)

Peter Huryk | 1 comments My name is Pete. I love soccer/football. In many ways it is my life. It is not just a sport to me. I play, I coach, write, I film.

message 164: by Iara (new)

Iara | 2 comments Hey, my name is Iara. I LOVE football. Here in Argentina it is a passion, a way of living for many people and still I surprise people when they watch a match with me. The football clubs I like are FC Barcelona, Boca Juniors (though they're not playing really well) and the Real Madrid. The countries that I like are Argentina, Deutshland, Netherlads, England, Italy and Portugal.

Michael Obiora (michael_obiora) | 2 comments Hello,

My name is Michael Obiora, I'm an actor and a writer.
I LOVE footy, and being from North-West London it's only right I support the correct North London team - Arsenal! Here's to another season of calling for Wenger's head (not me I've always trusted in Arsene), playing beautiful football, imploring our players to just shoot, and hoping that any title challenge lasts until the end of the season!

message 166: by regan (new)

regan Welcome all newcomers! Make yourselves at home! As possible as it is virtually :)

message 167: by Jozlin ;-} (new)

message 178: by Leidy (new)

Leidy Klotz | 1 comments Hey football fans! I played professional soccer for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and the now-defunct Harrisburg Heat before becoming an engineering professor.

You all might like my new book, Sustainability Through Soccer: An Unexpected Approach to Saving Our World. It tells a lot of great football stories (everything from Greece's unexpected win at Euro 2004 to the fan that scored for West Ham), but also explores some key sustainability concepts.

message 187: by Strzelba (new)

Strzelba | 1 comments Hi! I’m Kasia, football fan from Poland. I love Arsenal FC, have been watching them for more than half of my life. First Gunners match I saw was CL final against Barcelona and then my journey as a fan begun. It was something uncommon ar the time in my town as other girls didn’t watch football, also Arsenal was not the most popular club among my school friends (mostly Barcelona and Manchester United fans). There was ups and downs, but lately everything in the club looks great and last season was fantastic. My husband is a Chelsea fan, so we have interesting weekends ;) I love reading books, so naturally sometimes I read books about Arsenal too. Have a great season everyone! :)
