Agustín Fest (arboltsef) | 3 comments Hello,

I need some help deleting this book from Goodreads, is there any librarian or super librarian with enough status who could help me?:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...

I will be making some huge changes to the book, meanwhile, I'd prefer (as an author) to have it deleted while I'm working at it.

Thanks. :)
Agustín.

We don't delete published works, even if they have gone out of print.

Oh, I'm sorry about that. It wasn't published as a print, it was only destined as a digital copy. Well, anyway, thank you very much.

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Well, you're going to hate the answer, and I'm sorry. But GoodReads doesn't delete published books. Ever. If the book has ever been published and available for purchase/download, it's kept in the database. Current and future users who have that particular edition of the book want to be able to add that edition to their shelves.

Many liken GoodReads to a library. One with infinite storage. :)

Ebooks are also books, and the same policy applies.

Thanks for your kind answer Jennifer. :) Yeah, I like that concept, the infinite library, even if as an author I have to live with a copy I wished to remove. Heh.
