This book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...is a duplicate of this one:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
(the ISBN of the former one is not set correctly)
I've merged the books to avoid losing some reviews, now for me it's not possible to delete the incorrect version, I need the help of a super.
Thanks
Please delete this book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15.... It has an incomplete ISBN. The right one is this one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...

I believe this needs a superlibrarian:
I believe this needs a superlibrarian: In this link is a copy of Robinson Caruso where one of the books has almost no identifiable info and can be merged. The is also an audio book with similar issues. I've found an audio book that matches what information does exist.
Thanks!

RE #60: One of those is an "Unknown" rescue book. We are not deleting those at this time. The other could be an Audible.com edition without an ISBN, so I am not sure it should be deleted.

It's a duplicate of the German edition. I've separated the German one & combined it with this book, I'll combine with the other language editions again after the merger.

Theresa wrote: "Please delete this book from my author page. It's a duplicate. Thank you! Deity"Actually, that's not a duplicate; it's an edition (it has a valid ASIN, while the other has a valid ISBN). It just needed to be combined with the other edition of that book, which I've now done. :)
If you can verify that the Kindle edition should have the same cover as the Paperback edition, someone can take care of that for you, too.

Thank you. And yes, the covers are the same. Thanks again!

 Hello
HelloPlease could someone remove the following books from my profile - they weren't written by me:
King Sugar ISBN 9781551641249
Self Help for Pre Menstrual Syndrome ISBN 9780961096403
True Stories...Learning to Play God ISBN 9780804114967
Thank you.
 De voorlezer
      De voorlezerShould this version: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/28...
be merged with this version?:
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/88....
I find conflicting information.
On the publishers-website: isbn 9789059360303 is listed as published in 2010: http://www.uitgeverijcossee.nl/boek/D... (tab: titelinformatie)
It also says this is a 'jubileumeditie', with an interview with the author added, including questions for bookclubs
The Dutch ISBN-databank gives 2003 as publication year for ISBN 9789059360303: https://www.titelbank.nl/pls/apextvp/...
(search: titel:voorlezer, auteur:schlink)
The 'jubileumeditie', published in 2010, is listed here as ISBN: 9789059363021.
This ISBN 9789059363021 I can't find on the publishers website.
I hope someone knows how to handle this edition.
thanks!
This "book" is actually a fanfiction story. That itself is not the reason, but the story was pulled from FFn and the link leads nowhere. Should/Could this be deleted?

Sounds like a reason to remove the link, not delete the book from GR.

Okay, I can remove the link, but then it won't point anywhere. Should I put something in the publisher space that says it was fanfiction but has been removed?
rivka wrote: "Many books have no official link."
rivka wrote: "Many books have no official link."True, but they have ISBNs and you can find them that way on Amazon or B&N or other booksellers. In the case of fanfiction, that doesn't apply. Thanks for the info, though.

Not always. Some books -- with or without ISBNs -- are completely unavailable. This is true of small-press books with limited printings, books that have been out of print for a while, and so on.

I have a question about the fanfiction comment. Does that mean any fanfiction posted on a website can be added? They aren't really books, are they? Are they really even published by a company, or user submitted?

Don't know about this one. It had no ISBN and I can't find anywhere that says they were ever sold as an omnibus type edition, but it is merged with an unknown book.

Given the mess left in the wake of the Amazon data purge, I think these are better off being kept until we can identify them further.
Okay. Who knows if one is a clue or if someone manually combined them. Probably better to leave them that way until one is identified.

rivka wrote: "Just because an ISBN is no longer listed on a publisher website does not mean it's invalid."Since it was the most recent ISBN, I thought it was likely to be on the publishers website.
Maybe the publisher applied for a new ISBN for the 2010 edition, but decided (after ISBN-application) to re-use the 2003-ISBN for the 2010-edition.
 Please delete this book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12...
Please delete this book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12... It is a fanfiction that was posted on fanfiction.net and has been removed from the site. The author hasn't published it or made it available elsewhere as far as I can tell.
http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15... - I started reading my Kindle version of Shadow Unit 6, noticed that there was only the ebook version so manually added the information on the Kindle version (didn't have ASIN at time), combined the books. I then found the ASIN (B005NUFDEU) and when I went to add it to the record found that it was linked to a Rescue book. So I rescued the book, but now there are 2 Kindle books (one with minimal info, but ASIN, another with everything except cover and ASIN number). Cover is the same as the ebook version. I would like the two Kindle versions merged. Thank you!
