Ah but it was my birthday, well the day before.

You don't have to put it all in. In fact you can put anything there. You do need to put the whole url in though :)

Hi Jonathan, that is up to you. Near the top. Most people are putting it in the side.

I'm not sure how to put the code in if it's not an actual post. I think it will go on the side as a 'gadget' but am not really sure how to put text on the side of the blog. Sorry if I sound thick - I'm probably missing something!

The link shows on the full site Karen. On mobile sites our ring gadget doesn't show. I haven't worked out how Blogger decides what to show on mobiles. Any ideas welcome.

yes, I can't work out quite what's going on there. Also, does anyone know how to change the colour of the text of background? I had a look at the coding but my html is primitive at best so thought I might not mess with it!
