Better late than never brother. I am in the pub garden now. It will work on word press Sarah. Lots of people on the ring use it.
Hopefully someone can help......
Some people on the group wonder what I look like. Try to imagine a much younger, sexy version of Richard above. :)
Don't believe Simon, group.Richard is MUCH younger (and more clever) than Simon.
Happy pre-birthday Richard!

I see there are some new blogs on the ring for me to explore - I will take a quick tour round later today, & possibly update my own blog.
I would love to join the ring, but when I try to register, my blog ID has more numbers than the box will allow me to enter! Please help!
You don't have to put it all in. In fact you can put anything there. You do need to put the whole url in though :)
I'm not sure how to put the code in if it's not an actual post. I think it will go on the side as a 'gadget' but am not really sure how to put text on the side of the blog. Sorry if I sound thick - I'm probably missing something!
Looks great Dougie! The thingy is a bit down the page and off to the right but you have a lovely blog!
Afternoon all,I will be deactivating the ring for a few minutes this afternoon (3pm Sunday 26th 2012) in order to check links.
Everything should be back in a few minutes.
Thanks.
Simon
The ring is back!30 sites now.
...
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Goodreads where the Word Shines.
What on earth is that man on about?

Well, I've joined the ring again! On the basis that you can't have too much of a good thing I have added a blog with all my 5 star reviews. It's http://www.ignitebooks.blogspot.co.uk/
Authors I've been in touch with recently have allowed me to use their cover art. If you are an author who's had a five star from me and would like your cover art adding, please send me a PM and I'll give you my email address. (Then I haven't infringed your copyright) Also if you want a blog/website adding, PM the details.
I hope fellow readers will have a look for books they might enjoy - I have linked genres to authors to help you to choose. There are Amazon links (with the group store tag) and I hope authors might make an extra sale or two.
As and when I give a new 5* review I'll give the author a new blog page. Hope it helps someone!

I've had a quick look and put a link from my kindle-waffle-blog.
Must tour round the ring again later.

You been to my kindle-waffle-blog then??? It isn't on the ring because only a few people have visited it, (about 5 I think) whereas in theory the card one should get loads of visitors if I enter card challenges.
Kindle-waffle-blog is at http://2pdesignskindle.blogspot.co.uk/
Just blogged a new five star review -http://ignitebooks.blogspot.co.uk/201...
Lexie Conyngham's excellent latest book -

She's excelled herself!
Just having a stroll round the ring, and I have a prob seeing the widgetty thing on http://jaclement.wordpress.com/ ... unless it's just my Very Slow Computer?
The link shows on the full site Karen. On mobile sites our ring gadget doesn't show. I haven't worked out how Blogger decides what to show on mobiles. Any ideas welcome.
Ah, but not on my 'puter, Simon.There's a bit of coding.... nobrtable br { display: none }
then a v pale widget - it does work, but it's hardly visible.
Unfortunately I am on low technology thus week. If I manage to set up my laptop later I will take a look.
Yep, that's the story I heard tonight.Passion Fruit
Don’t get excited, the name was christened by the clergy who accompanied the first Spanish explorers to South America. They saw the fruit’s brilliant flower as a symbol of Christ’s crucifixion, sometimes referred to as The Passion of the Cross. The beautiful corona threads of the Passion Flower were seen as the crown of thorns, the five stamens were wounds, the five petals and five sepals represented the ten apostles (excluding Judas and Peter) and the three stigmas symbolized the nails of the cross.
Simon, steal the wee shampoos for me please? I know you won't be needing them. :)
Hi Karen - yes, I can't work out quite what's going on there. Also, does anyone know how to change the colour of the text of background? I had a look at the coding but my html is primitive at best so thought I might not mess with it!
JAC
As you'd expect, I'm afraid my HTML skills are pretty poor. I have to hire someone to do my coding for me. Sorry.
