You may want to change the way you wrote your email a bit so bots don't pick it up and you get loads of spam, though.

Changing the @ to (at) and the . to (dot) should do it. :)

There are a couple of sites waiting to be activated on the ring but I can't do it until the quiz is finished or it will confuse the devil out of everyone. I will do them as soon after as I can.

What happens is this. As soon as you register you pop up on my admin screen. I then go and look at the web site. As long as the navigation bar is there I normally activate it straight away.

However at the moment we are running a quiz on the ring until Sunday so I am not activating any new sites until after that is finished.

Up until now the restriction has been loosely defined as 'a single site for each active group member'. This is just to deter the occasional person who might join the site with the sole purpose of joining the ring.

I have three sites queued up and they will all get activated on Monday I hope so just hang in there. You will get an email when you are activated too....

Why not have a go at the ring quiz while you are waiting ....

I've tried the randomiser but I can't get it to be very random. I get the same ones, rather than a random selection... it's still cool though.

The random feature seems to be random for some people and not for others. Very annoying it is too.

I actually shuffle the ring every weekend so your neighbours change. I expect I will not be able to deal with the rubbish random numbers until I get rid of Virginmedia as my ISP.

I think the problem might be that the code on wordpress is CSS for the background and PHP for my sidebar - maybe it isn't compatible.

I'm afraid I don't use wordpress. Can you add a widgit? I seem to remember someone doing it that way. If you add an HTML segment it doesn't work so well.

I had a look at the widgits but couldn't quite figure it out!

No problem, it might just be that it's not going to work.
