Circe's Academy for Gifted Youth discussion

A forest...

May sat on a rock that was sheltered in shade by a large tree above her. She was plotting, wondering who might be easily convinced. Of course, most men would be, but she liked a bit of a challenge, so she didn't want to jump on someone who would rip their throat out without a little convincing. She sighed and ran a hand through her long, milk chocolate hair relishing in how smooth it was. Part of what helped her were her looks, and she always prided herself in remembering how beautiful she was.

Maylani hadn't noticed Cameron. She yawned and reached her arms up to let her muscles stretch, hiking her tight shirt up a bit, only to let it fall back down again as she stood up, preparing to do a little experimentation back at her dorm. Or maybe another person's dorm.

May turned, looking quickly over her shoulder at him, making her hair seem like a slow motion moment in an anime or action movie. She smiled sweetly and held her hands nervously behind her back. "Oh, thank you." She said, making herself blush. "But I don't think you'd be here if you were dead." She scanned his body with her eyes. "I'm May." She said, then tilted her head. "What would you be doing way out in these woods?" She asked, taking a step closer.

May shook her head. "It's the only place I can think." She said, letting herself scowl at the thought of the noise that the dorms brought. "I hate how loud it can get back at the dorms." She looked up at him, then laughed, beginning to circle around him as she twirled a strand of hair around her fingers. "And it's nice to... get away some times." She said, coming back around to the front of him. "It was nice chatting with you, Cameron." She said, before turning and beginning to walk away, her hips swinging with each step. She'd lost track of time with her thoughts, and it wouldn't hurt to get a snack.

May smirked as she glanced over her shoulder at him. "I've been here longer than you'd think. Even though boys think the world revolves around them, you've yet to catch news that other people have lives, as well. And right now, I'm starved. So... how about we discuss this over a walk and some lunch?" She asked, a glimmer in her eyes.

May looked down at his arm. "What, are you trying to be a gentleman?" She asked, then pushed his arm away gently. "That might work on the other little girls you pick up, but you're going to have to try a different approach if you think I'm going to fall into your arms." She said.

((Haha. He's older than Rik.))

May rolled her eyes. "I don't understand what they'd swoon about." She said, turning along the path as it curved through the woods. Sunlight began to break through the spaces between the trees.

((... Maybe like... 60 or so years?))

May glanced over at him, her eyes raking his form again. "You wish." She joked, something she rarely did. She stopped and took hold of his shirt, running her hand down the middle of his chest. "If you're so handsome, why do you keep covered up?"

"Aww. Does the poor boy burn easily?" May asked, knowing that couldn't happen as she pushed him back a bit with a daring attitude in her eyes.

"I think I will. We don't want you turning red, now do we?" May teased, turning away from him and continuing.

"Does it really matter that much to you? " May called over her shoulder. "I wouldn't want you to coe visit me if you can't go in the sun." She chided, smirking.

"And what makes you think I want to know your house?" May asked him, disregarding his comment about the sun. She started heading to the Dankunst dorm, but only because it was closest and she didn't want to walk all the way across campus. Not yet, at least.

"So do you always follow girls around like this, or are you just so astounded that I don't like you that you have to follow me because you're used to all those girls coming to you like flies to a light?" May asked, looking for a guy that she could force, no, persuade to give their food to her.

"Give me one good reason to be nice to a guy like you?" May challenged, stopping and turning so that she could face him. Her face was blank, but there was a gleam of a smirk in her eyes.

"And what if I want to push you?" May countered, her gleam from her eyes leaking to her mouth as a smile spread as she stepped close to him once more. "How bad is you bad side? You could just be talking bluff."

May rolled her eyes. "You haven't proven anything yet." She pressed, her body moving against him as she whispered in his ear. "But I don't think you're quite ready for me, yet." She moved back and began walking again, spying a lone boy and sitting on his lap in a graceful move. "Do you have any money? I seem to have left my purse back at my dorm and it's far away, and my feet already hurt. I only need twenty dollars." She told him with a begging tone, even though there was something different about the tabre of her voice. Something.... hypnotic.

May watched him out of the corner of her eye as the boy handed her two twenty dollar bills, insisting that she take both. She smirked and kissed the boy. It was the least she could do for stealing from him. She stood up and walked towards the Dankunst Common Room.

Malia walked into the forest.She stretched out her white wings alittle and sighed.She looked up at some birds in a tree and smiled.She flew up and landed on a branch,holding her finger out to a baby bird

Lillian walked into the forest and whistled as she did so. She smiled as she looked around at the mulitude of greens that showed up in the leaves and in nature. Smiling she continued to walk through the trees, looking for the perfect thing to inspire her creativity.

Malia looked down and saw a girl with blue hair Hm,interesting She thought.She lightly touched the birds head and smiled

Hale and Cameron appeared at the forest, a bit on the west side, away from the school. This part of the forest was more empty and unnoticed by the students and staff of Circe's. Perfect for Hale and Cameron's hideout.

"As in drop out and never come back?" Hale asked Cameron as he sat down below a tree with laying his back against the trunk. "Or as in, get off the property for a bit? Either way lucky you." Hale said.

Hale grinned, like Cameron, he was a player. Just not as . . . playerish as Cameron. He tried to think of what Siren Cameron was talking about but couldn't remember. "What's her name again?" He asked.

"Oh her. Yepp she's Ardor alright." Hale said. He hadn't really met or talked to May but from her attitude and appearence it was obvious she was Ardor.

Hale shook his head. "I'm going to laugh if you both end up cheating on eachother and don't even notice." Hale said. He had a feeling niether would care anyway. Well he wasn't sure about the May girl 'cause girls could hold some serious grudges but he new for Cameron it was just a game

Hale shrugged though he was slightly hungry himself. "I'm pretty sure we can sneak something from the campus to eat." He said. "What are you craving? I feel like eating ice cream."

Hale shrugged. "Hungry means food and food means survival for me. Now that I think of it I think I might go for some rare steak." Hale said. Being a werewolf he couldn't stand fully cooked meat but the human in him had it so he couldn't eat anything raw when he wasn't wolf. So he ate very rare steak.

Hale jumped to his feet with a mischivous grin. "Now that's what I call some fun. Where do you suppose we go? And I have cash to pay." Hale said. He always seemed to have money from scams he pulled on Mortals though it was his little secret.

Hale nodded and put his bundle of cash away. He knew better than to argue with Cameron. Out of the two Cameron was more powerful and dangerous. So Hale stook with being the side kick and went along with whatever Cameron had to say. "Alright, well let's go."

Nolan walked silently through the forest, hands in his pockets. His sensitive ears picked up the sound of arrows whistling through the air and changed his route, heading towards the source of the noise. He saw a girl shooting at targets and cleared his throat, announcing his presence.

The smell hit Nolan like a brick wall and he knew instantly that she was a werewolf. Fantastic, he thought to himself. He darted forward and grabbed the arrow that she had just shot in midair. Nolan grinned, flashing his fangs at her. "No offense, but you reek," he said, laughing.

Nolan shrugged. "Good point," he said, turning and throwing the arrow at one of the targets. It hit the left edge of the bull's eye. "I'm Nolan," he said, turning back to the girl.

Nolan frowned and sat on a fallen tree trunk. He smiled, knowing that she was slightly annoyed by him. It didn't really bother him though, people either liked him, or they hated him, there wasn't really a middle ground. The girl seemed to be leaning towards hatred, but he wasn't giving up easily. "This is the part when you tell me your name," he said.

Nolan smirked. "Wow, that was rather blunt," he said, standing up. "Well I have absolutely nothing else to do. You know, if you don't tell me your name, I'll have to call you 'Werewolf' which isn't very polite, even by my standards."

"You're right, I am in Ardor," Nolan said, glad they were having an actual conversation now. "And I've traveled a lot, so I picked up on the Irish accent. Even so, everyone should be able to tell the difference, it's not difficult." He laughed. "And now I really want to know what you were planning on calling me, Erin."

"I'll find out eventually," Nolan said, shrugging. "So, how long have you been out here?" he asked, wondering why exactly she was training. She obviously wasn't an amateur and in truth, Nolan was rather impressed by her confident, standoffish attitude.

Nolan's attitude switched from impressed to annoyed. "Hey, I'm not stopping you from training. I don't know what your problem is, but you don't have to take it out on me," he said angrily. He sighed inwardly, Of course I would run into the only girl on this campus who is probably a bigger jerk than me. Nolan turned and began to walk away.

Nolan stopped and turned around, a little surprised by her change of heart. "It's fine, I guess I'm usually the snarky, rude one," he told her. "Why do you look so confused?" he asked. "Can't you control your transformation?"

"Sorry," Nolan said, not wanting to upset her anymore than he already had. "How about we just start over?" he suggested. He stepped forward and extended a hand. "Hi, I'm Nolan," he said politely.

Nolan smiled and shook her hand. "I'm still the same person too, but I think we got off to a pretty bad start," he said. He gestured towards her bow and arrow. "Where did you learn to shoot like that?" he asked.

Nolan nodded. "That makes sense," he said. He looked around at the forest. "Yeah, sunlight sort of ruins things for me, that's why I like the forest. Although, I'm not sure where the whole 'burns instantly in the sun' theory came from, but it's rather melodramatic in my opinion. It's all a little exaggerated."

Nolan nodded in agreement. "So, what are some common myths about werewolves that aren't true?" he asked. He was genuinely interested for once, and not just putting on an act. There was something about Erin that made him want to know more about her, despite all of the hostility.

"So what do you look like in wolf form?" Nolan asked curiously. He generally tried to keep his distance from werewolves and had never actually seen a transformation. Vampires and werewolves weren't necessarily sworn enemies, but they avoided each other nonetheless.

Nolan shrugged. "Okay. Well I was actually about to go hunting," he said awkwardly. He always felt weird talking to people about feeding. It was disgusting to him, so he could only image how revolting it sounded to others. He wanted to stay and talk to Erin, but he was pretty hungry.

"Have fun?" Nolan asked, raising an eyebrow. "Uh, okay, I guess. It was nice meeting you," he said, and meant it. He turned and walked away, his senses automatically kicking and alert, waiting for the sound, smell, or sight of unsuspecting prey.
