I don't think Dina's talking about me, Dhes. I think she's talking about Lisa Kleypas.

oh...I have to join in...I've been trying to just stick to my one challenge this year..but I can't pass this one up..
I'm glad you're giving it a go, Bekah! It's actually pretty easy. The secret is to choose your book then the categories it fits into, and not worry about finding a book that fits them all.
Thanks, Dhes! I really loved ♥Shellbelle♥'s - but I didn't want to copy her. Even though it is the greatest form of flattery. :-) So...

Dhes, if I wanted to and someone volunteered, could I have someone pick for me if I told them what party I wanted?
Bekah wrote: "Dhes, if I wanted to and someone volunteered, could I have someone pick for me if I told them what party I wanted?"Absolutely!!!!

Ok ladies, I think I selected my books, should I post them and try to figure out how they fit into the Challenge (Theme/Costume etc) ahead of time; or post the books then read them then repost w/challenge info....how does this work? I don't like to poke around my books too much before I read so if someone could suggest what I do, that would be greatly appreciated!
Ellen, you can do whatever works for you! Post as you go, post ahead, post asking for help... whatever you want :)
Ok how bout it ....anyone wanna pick my books for me? Last time I was introduced to some of my fav books!!!
I will..I just didn't want to list it in case I got multiple volunteers...im still working on it. It will be very light ...no more than 2 books and I think contemporary and historical are the genres.
Hey guys! I finally have my list after going over and over and over and... yeah, you get my point.I'm MVP (most valued partygoer) in three parties!

I know that many of you are like me and suffer from that dreaded ailment known as MR.BIOs - Must Read Books In Order syndrome. So, if you see a book on the list and it's part of a series, but not the one you need to read, I'm going to allow you to read ANY book in a series listed, even if the book you need to read isn't on the list. The only stipulation is that at least ONE book in the series MUST be listed.
I'll update the list over the next few days to add "or any book in the series."

Yes, Dhes. I just
have
to re-read
b/c I have GoodReads friends that are doing so as "buddy reads" - and I don't want to miss out on the fun! Though I probably know the stories by heart, I haven't read them as many times as I've read
. But the other three will be new to me.
Autumn, I've never read anything by Julie James. (Julia James, yes.) I am looking forward to the book as it sounds like fun. Man-oh-man! And, after A Song of Fire and Ice, am I more than ready for FUN!
