I so get the reverse-reverse psychology. I do that to myself frequently. I like to have a book name for all the categories and then I change them because I'm not in the mood.
Thanks Steph :)

I won't do that again!

I did one with RRRC we couldn't change and that was tricky.

Double YAY! Sandra's reading Cass! :D

Yes, on page 240 and enjoying it immensely. Very interesting as I've read Dorie's books first, seeing Louis-Cesare and Mircea in a different light, so to speak.

Even though I wasn't blown away, I did really enjoy it.

Well, I can see why so many people enjoy this series. It was lots of fun. Totally predictable, but lots of fun. I'm hoping that the main series-long plot starts to develop a bit more depth as we go through the books though. If the whole series is as predicable as this then boredom might set in...not good. I did like Ward's writing though. She did seem to be making a real effort to interject 'street talk' for lack of a better term. It felt a bit forced at moments, but I still enjoyed the banter between characters.
I did like that some time was spent commenting on the other warriors so that you got a bit of a tease for the future. The addition to their group at the end was cool. Overall, I found the book enjoyable and will continue to read the next books in the series.

I felt the same way. I enjoyed it but I don't think it lived up to the hype in my opinion, but I'll probably continue with the series.

★ ★ ★ ★ I really didn't want to read these books. All the hype, YA, etc. etc. Then for a challenge (BSB R2), I read the first one. Then I really wanted to read the 2nd right away but due to other challenges, $$$, etc. etc., I put it off. Still concerned about the hype and YA, I hesitated to choose it for this round...after finishing Catching Fire late last night, I bought book:Mockingjay|7260188] first thing this morning and have already started it. Not waiting for a challenge, said forget the $$, etc., etc.
But, boy, did I cry, get angry, laugh, and cried some more. Had to put it down. Went back to it. Rinse and repeat...Tissues, please!
