>__< Have you ever noticed how the media only reports depressing stuff? Or when celebrities lash out? They don't talk about when a celebrity donates to charity or something. The average teenager nowadays is so easily pleased by shit songs that are all the same. Like how nearly all mainstream pop has a song about love or heartbreak and et cetera. e-e it's so annoying. Either that or the song has been synthesized so much, you can't even tell if the singer is good or not.

Me: I have noticed that. I just really don't understand why the stuff they're feeding us is so popular. Just the other day someone was talking to me about how many times Lindsay Lohan(?) had been arrested; They knew the exact number, and I had no clue about any of that. It's not that I'm ignorant, I just care about other things.

Me: It's because we're nerds, proud of that fact, and are actually thoughtful unlike the majority of human society. -_-* I saw some article on how Snookie is trying to lose weight. Okay big deal. Thousands of Americans are trying to do that, too. Gods.
