I don't know, but it seems connecting via Wi-Fi with my new Kindle as messed up my e-mail account with sbcglobal. They are suggesting I switch to gmail. **sigh** I'll wait out the week-end.

Okay, that was a lot of work, but I finished updating my "kindle-lendables" bookshelf. So, if anyone wants to look - and ask to borrow - feel free.

BTW, some of the books, especially the ones that were NOT free (and also tagged as just "kindle" not "kindle-freebie") are only lendable once. Therefore, make sure you not only want to borrow and read them, but that you'll be able to do so during the two-week lending period.

Actually, we ended up making chocolate mint puddle cookies instead of cupcakes LOL But, yes, we do have real food too ;)

I'm tempted to drive through McDonald's tonight and say screw it. But, the only person I'm screwing is myself - with junk food!

I did go over to my friend's house last night and cooked for her. It was pretty funny, b/c she's gone vegan - something I'm not. But she is not a good cook - something I am. I'm pretty patient, but she was telling me how to cook. I finally looked at her and said, "Okay. Who is going to make this? You or me?" It turned out delicious, if I do say so myself.

Anyway, the point of the story is, I meant to stop by the grocery store on the way home, but we got caught up looking at the cupcake board on Pinterest! (Something she didn't want to do - but LOVED in the end!) LOL!

The cookies were yummy! hee hee I absolutely LOVE to cook. I just started baking last year. I'm not too bad at it now, I prefer "real" food to sweets though :)

I must admit, as I get older, I don't cook anywhere near as much as I used to. One thing I was surprised about is that it is a skill you need to keep up (unless it is a recipe you can make in your sleep). The old “use it or lose it” adage really holds true; especially with regards to timing & placing everything on the table warm at the same time.

Now I just mostly watch about cooking on the FoodNet Work and PBS

Good heavens, if I were to put all these that I download on here, I'd have another 51425612 books added LOL This weekend I marked the books on my TBR that I own a physical paper copy of...well, 2 shelves of the bookshelf and ended up adding like 150 books here. I wonder if I'll ever read them all :)
