Riding and Hiking Trail

Maren flinched as the all-too-familiar burn of a whip stung her skin. She only felt it once, because she was focused on the sounds.
Now that the sounds were gone, the pain rushed to her. Big, heavy tears filled her eyes and she attempted to stifle a sob, without much success. Once the first sob was out she burst into a wail.

((>_<))
Drake gave her an over-cheery smile, one that was utterly out of place. "Run along now, and remember not to say a word about me, okay?"

Drake turned and continued up the trail as though nothing had happened. His fingers were laced behind his head and the smirk was upon him once more.
((HOLY FU*K IVI, I MEAN SHOULDN'T THE INFIRMARY NOTIV+CE ALL THESE WHIPPED PEOPLE?!))
Olive rode the black horse up the trail at a slow trot.

The last arrow from Myra's quiver disappeared over the cliff and she watched it sink beneath the waves angrily. Her fingers trembled from her grip on her bow.
Olive saw a figure in the distance, becoming closer as Alpha, the horse, trotted closer. Olive frowned, jumping off of the saddle effortlessly. "You okay?" She asked, no real emotion in her voice.

"No," Myra said angrily, having half a mind to hurtle her bow over the cliff as well.

((XD LOL IVI))
Olive smiled a bitter-sweet smile. "Well, I assume we're never perfectly okay." She replied. She sat down, legs dangling over the edge.

"Not in the slightest," Myra said angrily, her pretty face made sharp in her anger. "Of all the selfish fools in the world..."
Olive snorted. "I was getting Alpha here-" She gestured toward her horse. "And I saw that guy you were talking to. He seemed sorta bit*hy and selfish." She replied. "Is he part of your distress?"
"Part of it! Try all and you wouldn't be close," Myra said bitterly, kicking a pebble off the cliff and sitting dangerously close to the edge. In her anger heights weren't a problem.
"Let him take my books and shove them up his ass for all I care," Myra hissed, adding a few choice French swear words.
"Don't forget around the corner." Olive whispered to herself, smirking at a childhood joke. "Well, then he's gonna get all his shi* on them." She replied.
"I couldn't care less," Myra said, and it was true. She couldn't care less-- she cared far too much.
"Myra Dejeunesse, formerly Montpellier of the Hebe cabin," Myra said, arching an eyebrow at the girl. "I could ask the same of you."
"Olive, and you don't need a last name to remember me. I'm the daughter of Alexiares." She replied.
"Just did," Myra said, closing her mouth after that. She didn't want to seem like a complete bitch-- it was only Lucas' fault that she was being one at the moment. "I'm sorry if I come off as a bitch, it's just not my day," Myra said to Olive.
Olive snorted once more. "You? Bitch? Ha-ha yeah right. Wanna know who's a bitch? The guy who gave me this-" She said, pointing to the filmy white scar running up her right calf. "-You? Nah, just in a bad mood. And I don't blame you, if you had anything to do with that guy."
((HAL BLOOD HILL.))
"Lucas," Myra said bitterly. "My... well, he was my boyfriend a couple of hours ago."
"Lucas," Myra said bitterly. "My... well, he was my boyfriend a couple of hours ago."
Olive laughed bitterly, almost falling. "That bitch? You? Yeah right." She replied in disbelief.
"I have no idea why you wouldn't believe it; why would I be lying?" Myra asked in a ringing voice full of irony.
"You wouldn't be lying. Did I ever say that? It's just...he seems to need anger management and you seem like a person that tries to help everyone before them selves."
"I guess that's why we seemed like a good couple," Myra said sarcastically. "I brought out the best in him and he brought out the worst in me."
Myra was silent for a while. And I truly thought it would.
After a while she raised her head and smiled faintly at Olive. "Well, nice meeting you, but I have to go pack," she said, getting up and nearly falling off the cliff.

Olive got startled, and jumped (not off the cliff). "Okay. I'm just gonna pretend like I know what your talking about." Her voice was light, right after she recovered.
((LOL.))
"I'm leaving," Myra said calmly. "I'm going back to France, and if you'd do me a favour you'd slip it into conversation with him the next time you see him."

Olive nodded. "Well I tend to get in fights with those who prey on the weak, so if he's one of those kinds- I'll be sure to mention it." She said with a smile.
"He is. Thank you, Olive. I'll see you next summer."
Myra left to her cabin, her quiver magically filled with blue-tipped arrows again. After a moment's hesitation, when reaching camp, she drew one and sank it in the post next to Cherry's stall.
Hope you get the message, she thought bitterly, and set off.

Jasmine brooded (dangerously close) at the edge of the cliff. She stared down from the cliff, unfazed by it's height, observing all the rather smallish things and admiring the view of the ocean.
((x3))
Jasmine looked up as she heard someone and gave them her usual greeting, an intense green stare. She lay in a bed of soft, luscious grass, grown by yours truly, carving into the side of the rock cliff with a dagger.

"Hi, Peter." Jasmine finally said after looking at him with those keen eyes a little while longer. She recognized him from the Eris cabin, for she acknowledged all the major cabins, and especially the minor ones.
Crack.
Crack.

Everything good comes in threes. First, second, third. It's that number Drake abided by. Three quick bursts of his whip. Three bloody lines.

Crack.
Funny-looking. Drake scoffed.
