Will we not have a 3 in a row when we get all our stamps..."
I didn't realize diagnol counted. :)

Great review, Steph. Much more articulate than my own and less crazy-sounding.

I'm so glad you're enjoying that one, LL. I really liked those two. I thought they made a great pairing. Thanks, on the review compliment. I always enjoy reading yours - fangirl squeeing or no. :)
Yep, horizontal, vertical or diagonal all count for wins.
Ooooh, KC interview! Fun! I'll miss it, but do share some of the juicy bits with the group, yah? I am a big fan as well.
I'm rollin' through

Lethal, who's your #1 author? Defintely share interview details!
Steph, glad your liking Jane Yellowrock, I've been meaning to start the series basically since I've been on GR!

I will get the transcript sent to me so I don't miss anything & I'll copy & paste all the good bits for you all :)

This is the page for the chatroom - http://www.literaladdiction.com/autho...
It doesn't work too well with Internet Explorer so if you can use Safari or Firefox you will be better off. Just type in a name and enter - you don't need a password, unless you want one.
To be honest I would check you can get in beforehand incase you need to update your Java or anything cause quite often people miss stuff if they haven't checked before hand.
There are 3 chats this weekend so I double checked and Karen's is 4pm EST on Saturday.
If you click the tab at the top of the page "Author's Corner" the Q&A wll be there on Sat along with the rafflecopter to enter the giveaway (it's usually a signed book or some author swag). I'm guessing if you love her that much you would like the chance to win a signed book :)
My friend's blog is also hosting her on Saturday so there will be a second chance to win there if you want that site too.
Any questions or anything just let me know :)

*yawns* I'm inhaling coffee right now. I have three classes on Tuesday, beginning at 9am and the last one ending at 9 PM, so of course I HATE Tuesdays this semester. I should probably start getting ready for my Sociology class but what the hell!
My Top 5 Authors
1. Nalini Singh
2. Karen Chance
3. Ilona Andrews
4. Joey W. Hill
5. Meljean Brook

The blog is: http://bookmonsterreviews.blogspot.com/
There are giveaways a few times a week.
It's partially why my autographed collection is growing so well, that and the Street Teams I belong too. :)
I hope this Tuesday turns out to be a good one for you!

Thanks Josie ;)
I've been meaning to start it too, got all the books as they've come out, just need the time.

Yay Michelle!!! Looking forward to your cut & paste :DD

Great list, Lethal. Your top 3 are on my list as well. I have yet to start any Joey Hill books, though I have 2-3 series of hers waiting patiently. I did read the first Iron Seas book and while I liked it I didn't love it, so I haven't returned to any of hers. But, I have them just in case I wanna give it another go. I also have her Guardians series, which I've been meaning to start, but always seem to forget about.
Hope everyone enjoyed the chat/interview/giveaway. Looking forward to the share.

I did have a weak moment and buy

Sounds really good, Steph - I love character development, I like to look back at the first book and see how much they've grown lol. It sounds weird but it's true. All the best UF has it - Kate, Mercy, Dory etc.

YAY! Oh, I hope you like it. I tend to rave about books that others don't care for or if they do then not nearly as much as me. But, occasionally I call it right for the masses. :) Just knowing you own it makes me happy.

It sounds like a series I'll love! Lol I'm interested - which ones have you raved about that haven't been well received?

I have finished my book, just to write up my review :)

This is the 2nd book in Tes Hilaire's Paladin series and it was even better than the first!
The plot threads left open in book one are picked up again in this book only the focus has changed from Roland and Karissa to Logan. Logan is a Paladin warrior and next in line to be their leader. When he is inexplainably drawn to Jessica, the Homicide Detective who is trying to arrest his brother-in-law for murder, he has to decide whether to go against tradition and mate with a human or put the needs of his brethren above his own.
Logan and Valin captured my attention in the first book, I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Logan in this book, he certainly doesn't disappoint and the little snippets of Valin have me eager for more. I loved the twists in this one and the addition of succubi & incubi to the vampires, angels & demons. It makes for an interesting cast of characters. I highly recommend this series :)

I did have a weak moment and buy

Can't go wrong with Kitty Katts :) especially if you've read #1 & #2.

Yay, Josie! :) I'd have to think on it, but I know there are some I've raved to others and they've rated low. Never can tell I guess.
ETA: Josie, sorry about spoiling SW2 with my review. But, thanks for reading it. I know I rambled quite a bit to say the least. I'd also forgotten that we were chatting in Val's series list thread. Oops. ;)
Definitely agree w/ya, Sandra. That's a series where you're gonna enjoy them all if you liked the first. The humor is the same throughout. Hottie Armani-wearing aliens, what's not to love, right? LOL!

Lol, thanks Sandra and Steph, don't feel guilty anymore ;)

I keep thinking about starting the Jane Yellowrock series.
I am loving my series clean up book

So, Jason's one of Raphael's *Lethal's boobs start a'palpitating* Seven who's an angel with pitch black wings and a "spymaster" and full of DA BESTEST STUFF ON EARTH (kinda like Snapple). He goes to Neha's (that crazy archangel bitch who makes out with snakes) territory to do his spy thing and meets MAHIYA. She's cool. I like her. Then starts their quiet, understated full-of-awwww romance. I liked that too. And the other stuff with "Who Killed Eris?" (I thought that fool had died EONS ago) was intriguing. Jason's story was so sad and when he was reliving all the things that happened with his parents I was sobbing into my pint of Ben&Jerry's Bonnaroo Buzz (you should try it; it has REAL WHISKEY in it). And when Mahiya was all "Don't nobody love me! I WANT TO LOVE AND BE LOVED LET ME LOVE YOU!" I cried some more and said to myself "Bonnarro Buzz is not enough!" and cracked open a pint of Imagine Whirled Peace.
A lot of people died in AS. Not a many as say what happened in "Archangel's Kiss" when Lijuan went postal on China, but still. And what happened to the killer of these people makes you go "Hmmmm." It's complicated. I loved most everything about AS, including the sexytimes. I do have one gripe. The end. Like the very end when Jason was all....and Mahiya was all.....and I was like DAFUQ? ------>(view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

How I love thee, let me count the ways ...
(1) Oh, wait, what? I was dreaming of drinking Jason down like a thirst-quenching Snapple, wondering what his lid would say, but too busy to check it and forgot what I was saying
(2) Snake-maker-outter is one crazy archangel bitch, no lie
(3) Big E was wishin' he'd died eons ago when little e and his dirty deeds done dirt cheap got him incarc(she-owns-your-ass-now)erated
(4) B&J have ice cream with real whiskey in it? SWEET! Gotta remember that when I am US-bound again
(5) Jason's weebittybabyangel story ๏̯͡๏ come on over here, ya big, black-winged lug, group hug! Closer. Closer still. More. Oops, sorry L, didn't mean to push you down, really, it was an accident. Come on, do over.
(6) *picturing spooky-ass Lijuan tearing up China while wearing a postal uniform* -pause- *giggle*
(7) ♬ ≤ ❤

No'One's character has always annoyed me. It drove me crazy that she was was submissive to everyone else, so I was happy to see her grow through this book. As always I was both happy and frustrated to see the side stories. I loved the Xhex and John Matthew storyline as sad as it was, it was great that Lassiter was back and in this story so much, his humor and presence is always fun. I was frustrated by the Xcor and Throe bits and the other characters they involved, and I just want the Qhuinn and Blay stuff to move along already. Luckily this last storyline was the smallest of the three subplots or it would have been even more frustrating.
I loved seeing Tohr and No'One move on and grow together. I was suprised how much I loved this story, and reminded again how much I love this series.

I finished mine this AM, just need to write up my review. (LOVED it!)

I just hope that she gives them a LOT of page time b/c you know how a book can be touted as so-and-so's story, but then another couple comes in to crash the party? Well, I don't want any other brother crashing their party!
* ETA: I know it's not due out until Mar 2013, but that's way closer than ... 'I'm thinking, maybe a novella, we'll see, others to be written' neverneverland. ;)

Yes, John Matthew and Xcor did a whole lot of party crashing this book. I'm right there with you on that.

Death's Rival by Faith Hunter
Series: Jane Yellowrock #5
Rating: 5 of 5 stars
Shelf: Series Catch-up
Read: 18 Oct 2012
Review:
Death's Rival is the 5th book in Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series. If you haven't read the first 4, stop reading this and get 'ta readin' those!
I'll let Jane give ya a rundown of the sitch ~
I'm Jane Yellowrock, and I used to kill vamps for a living. Until I started working for them. It wasn't easy money, and I'd dumped the contract with Leo Pellissier, the chief fanghead of the Southeastern U.S., when the retainer ran out. But when Leo had requested my help yesterday, I'd re-upped to resolve this problem, because it was the right thing to do. Leo and his people had been attacked under my watch. Humans had been injured. Blood-servants had died. I'd killed some of them. No one knew who this new enemy was, and now vamps were sick, maybe dying, and a new, powerful vamp had entered the vampire political scene.
Somehow, someway vamps (new, old and old, old) are becoming sick with some sort of virus or plague. Seems impossible, but Jane's witnessed it firsthand. This on top of fallout from her actions while in Asheville in Raven Cursed means Jane's plate is full. She's tasked with finding out who is making vamps sick and how while also trying to deal with the aftermath from her earlier protect-yourself-now-ask-questions-later sharpshooting.
What else is full to overflowing? Her dance card! Many a men make her heart (and mine) go pitterpat fastfastfast. Which will Jane choose?
For me, the romance in this series is but a delicious side story so I'm not too upset that she hasn't fully mated/paired with anyone as yet. Instead, my enjoyment comes from watching Jane's growth since we first met her in Skinwalker. She's lost a great deal, including much of her past. But, with each recovered piece of her past (with the help of Aggie) the puzzle of her life becomes clearer. She is beginning to realize that she cannot continue (or may not be able to continue) to hide what she is, but she seems okay with that, which is awesome! I am anxiously awaiting Blood Trade as this one ended with a "Well, crap" from Jane, an amused huff from Beast and a bit of a cliffhanger.
* I've removed some bits, but the full review is up if you'd like to read it in it's entirety.

See, that's it exactly. Party crashers throughout. I love to see how our beloved characters are making out and moving on, but something I just wanna read about the dude/tte that the book is supposed to be about. But, damn her, she always hooks me in the end. LOL!

Ghost Town is the ninth book in the Morganville Vampires series and yet another entertaining installment. Claire is tinkering with a new system to re-establish the barriers that protect Morganville from outsiders and cause people to forget Morganville when they leave. She notices the people inside the town start developing amnesia and think they are living three years in the past. Amelie gives her an ultimatum to fix the computer or die.
It has been a while since I read Kiss of Death, so I was hesitant that I would not remember a lot of what has happened so far. There was just enough review of previous events to trigger my memory without being overkill. To be the ninth book of a series, I expected the series to lose steam but there is still a lot of character development going on that keeps it fresh. It was fun to get a glimpse at what the characters with amnesia were like a few years ago. At first, the plot seemed rather predictable but there were a few added twists that kept it interesting. The cliffhanger at the end was somewhat expected, but I still look forward to finding out what it means for the future of Morganville, Claire and all of her friends.

She might answer that on her website. I haven't been over there in eons.
Q&A: Does she plan to write in the world from anyone else's perspective? IE: LC
Can't think of anything else at the moment. Thanks, Michelle, enjoy! Looking forward to hearing about it later.
Shelf's up! Demons
I haven't taken a look at the shelf yet. I'm about a 1/4th of the way through Alice in Zombieland. I re-read Blaze of Memory at the same time, but that one got most of my booktime. So, I want to finish AiZ before starting another. Hope to have it finished today or tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Happy Reading, Tenacles! :D

The new shelf is up, Tentacles! It is......: DEMONS! ^_^ I'll be back soon with my pick.
BTW, I just wanted to say thank you so much for being great, hilarious, PROMPT teammates. I was reading through the Discussion thread and I saw that A LOT of people on other teams went MIA this round. No "Hey, I've got to drop about because of ______". Just POOF. I had to deal with that myself for 2 of the 4 rounds of BSB where I was captain (one of the reasons I've decided to not volunteer as captain anymore) and I know how frustrating that can be. SO THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE AWESOMAZING!!!!!
