Trinity Is it ok if I ask this here? If not you can delete it :)

Does anyone know how to add a checkmark to their post?

Trisha | 30284 comments Hello!

I wondered if I could 2 comments deleted from my series thread?

they are by random people and aren't about my series.
I think they are both on page 3 (or possibly bottom of page 2 and then page 3)

thx!

Trisha | 30284 comments what do you guys think about making an acronym thread?

I've seen some questions roaming around lately about some of the acronym's we're using.

maybe we can have a thread to help?

things like:

MG - Middle Grade
NA - New Adult
HEA - Happily Ever After

If it just clutters the boards, no worries if you don't want to add it, but it was just an idea ;)

I think we would just want to keep them literary or book related and not add every acronym possible. lol

message 164: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments Good idea. I only know a few though. I'll get to that this evening.

Whitney Boatright | 578 comments Found it thanks mandianne :) but what's the 5-7 mean? Under difficulty?

message 177: by Mandiann (new)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments The number of books you want to read in the one month period.

message 178: by Mandiann (new)

Mandiann (goodreadscommandiann) | 6882 comments Each book should fit into one of the categories listed. Hard would be to read ten books, one for each category, I believe.

Trisha | 30284 comments Hello!

Sorry, I know everyone is crazy busy

I was just hoping for some help in the buddy reading area.

we have a few buddy reads that are in the To-Read area that are actually currently going (mine for a few days now) and I can't move it.

is it possible to get them moved to "in progress"?

Thank you!!! :D

I don't believe Gisbelle has posted that round's discussion yet since she is very busy and it is only the first day of October. (: We will have it up soon!

message 194: by Gisbelle (new)

message 195: by Whitney (new)

Whitney Boatright | 578 comments Thanks gis :)

message 196: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments no biggie :D

message 197: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments NA books generally are for at least 17 years and older because of the mature content, such as language and sexual content.

message 198: by Whitney (new)

Whitney Boatright | 578 comments So all those books in NA are sexual ?

message 199: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle | 25787 comments Not all of them, but most of them are very graphic. Sometimes, they are just a little bit more serious than YA that's all. The topic might be tougher for some people.

Usually main characters in NA books are from 18 to mid 20. They are finishing high school or starting their career

message 200: by Whitney (new)

Whitney Boatright | 578 comments I'm lost lol. Cause I was checking into this as well
