Shockwave looked at Leo and hotted and twitterd at him. Nemo shook his head. Elena shrugged. "Hey, your still better than me."

"That's not fair! I've been training for a lot longer," Madeline protested. Luma sunk his claws into the ground.

Leo started to arch his back and circle
"They are soooo dead."
"Yeah I know."

Shockwave dug his talons into the earth and watched the giant leopard. Don't hurt me! Nemo watched with interest.

Luma glared and hissed. Madeline, completely oblivious to her pet's behavior, drew back another arrow.

"Should we stop him?"
"No, I wanna see what will happen." answered Tillsman

Nemo watched, ready to stop it if it got bad. Shockwave hooted in warning and chirped high-pitched in fear.

Madeline fired the arrow. It split through the first, causing Madeline's lips to draw back into a satisfied smile.

"Hey! You might want to move!"

Nemo started to pin his ears back against his head and broke into a low growl.

Madeline turned to face the boys and grisly leopard. "I can very well protect myself," she said evenly.

Leo growled back aggressively then drew in closer.
"He isn't an ordinary leopard! AT ALL!"

Elena watched, not saying anything. Nemo pinned his ears back against his head. Shockwave peeped. Nemo grew his growl up.

"Obviously," Madeline retorted. "I know what I can, and cannot take. If that leopard were actually a threat to me, I would've walked away by now. I've been around for a long time."

"Yeah he isn't an actual leopard. He can uh.. change."
"Can I eat them?" Leo asked.

Elena shook her head. Nemo growled at Leo. No. They aren't your. They charcoal one's my friend. Shockwave twitterded.

Madeline raised her bow, an arrow pulled back. "Touch them, and I'll kill the leopard."

Elena nodded. Nemo snorted. Leave them be. Shockwave tweeted pleedingly. Please!

"Kill the leopard! HA!! He would be an ant by the time you shot, when you were reloading he'd be a bear."

"Have you met a Hunter if Artemis before?" Madeline inquired. Luma glanced back at Shockwave and Nemo.

"Have you met a shape-shifter before?"

Shockwave scrambled away and over to Nemo. Nemo lowered his head in a forward bow. Shockwave hopped up Nemo snout and stood on his head. Nemo lifted his head up.

"Yes. I have," Madeline said coldly.

"What about one who isn't bent on destroying humanity?"

Madeline rolled her eyes. "Like I've said, I've met one before."

"But this one has brain. He knows when to shift and who to fight, sure he can't kill you, only because he wouldn't."

"And I can fire arrows faster than you can blink," Madeline replied.

"He can change faster than you can shoot."

Elena nodded. "That isn't a lie." SHockwave twittered madly at Leo.

Madeline shook her head, a smile plain on her face. "I've been around a long time," she repeated. "I know what I can and can't do, so lay off."
Luma hopped over to Nemo.

"Which one, her comment or my snarky retort."
Leo continued to advance.

Elena snorted. "I could take you down if I must." She glanced at the small stream a ways over. Nemo barked. As can I. Elena nodded. "And Nemo here could too, three legs or not."

Madeline frowned. She aimed at the leopard. "Last chance."

"Okay, Leo do your thing."
Tillsman walked backwards and sat down.

Elena got in a stance to attack, one hand behing her and the other up under her neck. Nemo tilted his head, making SHockwave slide off. He stood there in a bow position.

Madeline simply stood there, completely in position.

Leo changed form into a bird-wolf giant thingy.
"What is that."
"His original form."

"Attack...if you dare." Elena challenged. Nemo barked chalengingly.

Madeline continued to stand there, indifferent.

"Challenge! More like eat." retorted Leo
He flew over and dive bombed

Madeline fired. Her arrow landed in the creature's eye.

Elena stepped to the side and dipped her hand in the stream, Water flew in the air and extended. She seperated her hands and plunged them down. The water froze into ice sipkes and crashed down around Leo in a circle, enclosing him.

Leo winced and fell, He changed into a pheonix melting the ice.
"Yeah, by the way did I mention that he isn't normal? Oh yeah I did."

Elena did the same, sending the spikes at Leo this time. "Can't you control YOUR pet?!"

Madeline rolled her eyes. "Did I mention that those are my practice arrows? Oh wait... I didn't. They're not made to take on things other than targets, smart on."

"No, he's not my pet, oh and celestial bronze can't hurt him that much, unlike most monsters he isn't one. Because he can be a bear."

Elena shot more ice spikes at him, one itty him wing, feathers scattering every where. Elena looked at Nick. "Can' you control him at least?!"

"Yeah, but the Hunter said she could beat him."

"And I can," Madeline retorted, reaching into her quiver. After a brief few seconds of searching, she took out an arrow. A simple arrow. Filled with poison, she added silently as she took aim.

Leo changed shape to a fly.
