Eric smiled at her, and took out another one of his bows. He did as Bridget had taught him, then let go. The arrow landed on the second ring away from the center.

Bridget glanced at Fiona, smiled a small smile and stood, picking up her own bow and slinging her quiver over her back again. She glanced at Eric. "Stay out of the way," she said quietly as she pulled out one arrow and notched it.
Bridget grinned. "You'll see." She aimed her first arrow and shot it.Almost immediately, another arrow was on her bow and ready to be shot. She shot it in exactly the same arc and pulled out another.
Her quiver was empty in a matter of thirty seconds.
Bridget shook her head. "It's practice for exact aim. Watch." She walked up to the target and yanked out one large arrow. Each arrow had pierced through the one before it exactly.
Bridget smirked. "That is why I have good aim." She grinned and sat down, pulling multicolored tape out of her quiver and removing the arrows from each other, one by one.
"Wow. That is so cool. How did you get all the arrows to stuck to each other?" Eric asked, sitting down next to her.
"You shoot them directly into the next one and they'll get stuck," she responded as she pulled the last two arrows apart. She ripped off a piece of the tape and began wrapping the wood of her arrows with it.
Eric grinned. How had he made her blush so bad? "Oh. That's still creative, though. Why do you wish you were a Muse?" He asked her.
"Oh. Well. If you could be the daughter of any Muse, which one could it be?" He asked her quietly. He wondered if he could get her to blush more.
Bridget shrugged, knowing they were coming dangerously close to talking about her past. "Because she would fit my past," she answered simply.
Eric stopped smirking. His face turned serious, despite his now raised eyebrow. "Really? How so?" He sat back up, curious.
Bridget's eyes flashed up, met Eric's for a moment, and flew back down to her arrows. "I-I'd rather not talk about it," she said hastily.
Eric shrugged, "ok. Sorry I pushed you." He apologized, thinking if a way to comfart her without making her punch him. Slowly, he patted her hand.
Eric smiled at Bridget, then at Fiona. Helooked down and widened his eyes when he saw how close he and Bridget were. He smiled, and scooted back an inch, hoping the movement didn't hurt her feelings.
"I don't have that kind of aim. All I do is read books." She drew her bow and attempted to hit the target. It ended up right in the nose of an Artemis statue nearby. Fiona was shocked. "Whoa! Not my fault!"
Fiona laughed as she saw her aim. Maybe it didn't even go near the target, but having the aim for hitting the nose of a goddess' statue...that was talent.
Eric grinned. He watched the two girls in interest. He wondered how Bridget got the talent of aim with bows.
"Who knows if Artemis will kill me later" Fiona muttered and went into shooting stance. But she was too tense. The arrow flew right past a nearby tree.
Fiona nodded. "Okay." She went into shooting stance, got normally tense...but the arrow ricocheted the target and went past her ear. "Whoa!"
Eric looked at Fiona and her stance. "Make sure that your legs are shoulder- width apart. And loosen up more," Eric advised.
Fiona loosened. Her next arrow this time flew and buried itself right in the middle. "Yes!" she exhaled.
Eric nodded, "good!" He grinned at Britney. "And the student becomes the teacher," he said with a smirk.
Bridget smiled and took a seat again, picking up her arrows with shaking hands and wrapping them with the colorful tape.
Eric followed her, abd noticed her trembling hands. "Hey," he said, holding her hands together. "Are you all right?"
