"Oh my gods, you can do that?" Hayley asked, staring at him interestedly, as if the thought of separating bodies from brains was the most useful thing ever.

Miles nodded. "I guess I can, I've never really tried. I can separate noses and stuff, but I've never tried brains."
((:D YOU SEE WHERE I'M GETTING THIS FROM?))

((I probably should and it's gonna be really obvious, but I have to say, no.))
"That's weird, in a cool get-revenge-on-people type of way," Hayley said.
"That's weird, in a cool get-revenge-on-people type of way," Hayley said.
Miles nodded. "It is," he said hungrily.
"I don't have powers like that. But it's fun to curse people into rhyme-talking," Hayley said with an amused gleam in her eye.
Elisa walked in, her face red from tears. Looking for something to take out her anguish she lifted up some metal stars and chucked them at the target. Dead center, as usual.
Miles grinned broadly at her and lifted his hands in surrender, "Just please don't ryhme-curse me!" He joked.
"Pfft. Like I'd ever use my energy to rhyme-curse you, and my laziness proves that's true," Hayley said, in a scoffing tone.
"Did you mean you as in everyone or 'you' as in me?" Miles asked, confused.
"I DON'T know," Hayley said bluntly.
Dylan cane after her. His bow was made of thick wood. His arrows were nade of wood, with a stone spear with colorful feathers attatched. He smiled at Ellie, "nice bow. Very nice."
"Thank you" she answered, and drew an arrow. She shot a taget in the middle zones, and cursed. "Children of Nike don't like losing."

Henry nodded to show he understood. Fitting a pebble into the smooth leather, he swung it around his head, trying to act like the old movies on TV.

((Oh, didn't see that one!))
Phillip chuckled. "Westerns and such have it all wrong. It's mostly in the wrists. Relax your arm."

Phillip chuckled. "Westerns and such have it all wrong. It's mostly in the wrists. Relax your arm."
((Tis fine!))Henry corrected his arm position and swirled the leather pouch gently from his wrist joints. He looked to Phillip to see if he was doing it right.
Miles sighed. "Great, thanks, that clears everything up." He grumbled.
Lightfeather ☼☺♥ wrote: "Henry laughed as he glanced up at his still rotating hand. "Cool! So...I just let go?""
"Yup, when it feels right." Phillip said, nodding. "Just try not to hit any of us!"

Henry raised a brow. "Um. Okay." He let go of the rock and, with a thwack it his a tree, about ten feet from the target. Unfortunately, Henry had also let go of the puch and it lay about 10 feet from his starting stance.
Henry let his head fall into his palms and moaned dramatically. Lifting his head back up, he said, "I think I'd better stick with my dagger."
((MAGGIE! Okay, I'm bringing dear Melllllley. I decided.))Chaumelle walked in, her eyes angry. Since she had already beaten up enough practice dummies in the arena, she decided to get her anger out here. She strolled over, picked up a bow and quiver and shot an arrow. It landed with a loud thud in the target.
Henry raised his eyebrows disbelievingly, but jogged out to get his pouch and pebble. As he came back he looked to Phillip. "What'm I doing wrong?"

"I know, right?" Hayley said with a wide-mokcing grin. "Crystal clear."

Miles sighed. "Yes, very much."
Silverfur- (I love Edward!!!!!!) wrote: "Dylan shruuged. "I wouldn't say skilled, no. But I've had sone experience." He said modestly.""How...modest of you" Ellie murmured and pointed at the ground. "Ever hit the target indirectly?" she asked. The arrow hit the ground, bounced off a tree and landed exatcly where Ellie's other arrow ended up. "Sadly, archery isn't my forte..."
Magdalena (Maggie) wrote: ""You need to hold on tighter- just not so tight you can't make your wrist flexible."""Right," Henry nodded. This time, as he swung the pebble, he let go. The pouch kept place in his hand, but the rock flew and hit the ground about 10 feet from the desired target.
Henry grinned, his eyes sparkling with triumph. He gratefully took the stone and tried again. It was a little closer, but not by much.
Dylan smiled back at her, and shot his bow. He knew he could make it hit the center of thhe target, instead he hit it si the arrow landed on the very bottom if the target. Turning back to Ellie he said, "see? I'm not very goof."
“Oh, it doesn’t matter so much if you hit it, just if you did the effort. At least, in your heart. The world will always want more and more and better and better.” She threw another of her arrows just to make her point. Luckily, the arrow hit the center, but accidentally bounced back and almost hit her ear back as she dodged. “Whoa!”
Dylan steadied her. "Hey! Careful there, sweetheart. I'd hate to have you fall and hurt your pretty face." He helped her up, his eyes concerened.
"Why, thank you, how noble" she giggled. Usually she cut boys off short, but this guy seemed...more charming. Thoughtful.
Dylan smiled, "no, not noble, ma'm, just honest." He smiled at her again, this girl had spunk. Most girls around here were bratty, this one was different though.
"Well, I have to go to my cabin for a while" she said. What a pity to leave hima alone. But she promised her a brother of hers she would clean up the closet in time for inspection.
"I'll be here, waiting." He promised, smiling again. He admitted that it was sad to see her go, but she would be back.
Eleanor strolled down to the archery range, a nice time to be away. The new girl had taken Madeline's bed, after all. She shivered, drawing an arrow.
