And I thought I stayed up late. (I go to bed very early. In the summer, I’m usually asleep before it gets dark.)

It sounds like a good night for relaxing in the lamplight of a private library, a smell of ash and hickory burning in a baronial fireplace, a snifter of sherry glinting in the firelight!
