Zack Lol.

message 3202: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments M was too fat from
fries and malts not to start an
earthquake with a waltz.

message 3203: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol!

message 3204: by Zack (new)

Zack Super powers and
Natural disasters would
improve dancing shows

message 3205: by [deleted user] (new)

Belly, Zack and M
all went to watch a Dancing
Show to learn the art?

M | 11617 comments At the Gypsy’s Stage

A mug of mead, a
post oak’s shade, the moaning sound
of a large bronze bell . . .

message 3207: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’m laughing at Belly’s #4503! It wasn’t on my screen when I posted.

message 3208: by [deleted user] (last edited May 27, 2013 06:57PM) (new)

He'd rather strangle
himself than learn how to dance.
Poor pink,permed-lashed toad.

* Kindly disregard now hahaha

message 3209: by [deleted user] (new)

Lol! Thank you Belly, I was trying to follow your hilarious haiku.

message 3210: by [deleted user] (last edited May 27, 2013 07:10PM) (new)

Belly wrote: "amphibian librarian

the pink toad steals
The Idol of the Gold Fly
and gets nine lashes"

hahahahahaha

and I like the title too :))

message 3211: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments You are all doing such an amazing job - I would buy this thread if I saw it published! I have no idea how you are able to write so well so quickly. Each time I think I have a semi-decent continuation, the thread has 3 or 4 more posts... Lucky it's so enjoyable just to read ;)

message 3212: by [deleted user] (new)

Then Ryan joined in,
he knew how to waltz, but all
three little pigs found it
abhorrent. The nine-permed-lashed
toad was sad and felt hopeless.

message 3213: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments RotFL! HC! So many excellent posts from everyone. Truly amazing!

Belly, ...musclemen is unbelievably funny!

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Mine follows Belly's amphibian librarian

the pink toad steals
The Idol of the Gold Fly
and gets nine lashes

what the cat lashed in

The cat-o-nine tells
tales of thrashed toads toadying
up to fly fishers.
The flies were hard to swallow
but not as hard as the tales.

message 3215: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments A writer, fishing,
caught a whale and found his nose
in a piece of tale.

message 3216: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments hahaha... ;)

message 3217: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Ryan, that’s a spectacular profile photo!

message 3218: by [deleted user] (last edited May 28, 2013 05:27PM) (new)

Nice, M :)

A tale, a sign to
sail, through image into words.
A flurry of thoughts.

Good morning from here :)

message 3219: by M (last edited May 28, 2013 05:34PM) (new)

M | 11617 comments It’s getting dark here. Good morning, Leslie!

The flurry soon turned
into a blizzard. Nothing
but white could be seen.

I hadn’t paid the
insurance lizard, couldn’t
drive to Dairy Queen.

message 3220: by [deleted user] (new)

Argh! Dairy Queen, I've been thinking about it since last weekend.

A world of cookies,
mallows, vanilla and
ice cream, I'm craving.

message 3221: by [deleted user] (last edited May 28, 2013 06:06PM) (new)

Nice, Belly :))

or Ben and Jerry's
Butter Pecan to replace
a cup of coffee

message 3222: by [deleted user] (new)

yay, I just made a cup of coffee, now, I don't feel like drinking it anymore lol

message 3223: by [deleted user] (last edited May 28, 2013 06:28PM) (new)

Belly!! Lol! You're such an amazing writer/poet that it will be hard for me to wipe the image out of my head.

message 3224: by [deleted user] (new)

No ice, not cockroach.
She was deceived by a bar
of dark chocolate.

message 3225: by [deleted user] (new)

So many things to watch out for now, tsk tsk lol!
The titles are brilliant, can I borrow your mind, for a day? :D

Ants as big as rice?
A mutated colony
lost. The queen is dead.

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments mortuary service

The Queen's last consort
buzzed her mellifluous
words on his last flight.

message 3227: by [deleted user] (new)

I can't do this, I can't even think of a decent title :)

off-topic

If I can, I will
collect tiny parts of your
talents; it won't hurt.

But I can only
be awed; give an applause. I'm
lucky to be here.

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments talent search

I was lucky once
To find a talent once lost.
Why wasn't it mine?

message 3229: by [deleted user] (new)

still no title

Let it slip, let it
fade. Hidden, forgotten, lost.
All because of fear.

message 3230: by Ryan (new)

Ryan | 5334 comments Jim and M - congratulations on your Poetry! nominations and best of luck :)

message 3231: by Jim (new)

Jim Agustin (jim_pascual_agustin) | 625 comments Thanks, Ryan! The Goodreads population chose the road more traveled though. Hahaha!

message 3232: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow, congratulations and goodluck, Jim and M :)

message 3233: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments I’m laughing at Jim’s “road more traveled.” I’m the road least traveled!

I’ve got it bad, the
writer’s block blues. Muse didn’t
pay her union dues.

I’ve yawned, verbally
constipated, tapped my pen,
doodled, and waited.

message 3234: by [deleted user] (new)

but it's still nice, M :)

I've got nothing haha too much Ice Age 3.

message 3235: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Good morning, Leslie!

Good morning, M :)

Good evening to me, you woke up early?

and waited until
the sun came up, until it
went down, but nothing.

Ryan | 5334 comments @ 4545 - I love this one, M. Stunning.

message 3241: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Ryan, thank you!

The tanka posted last night were so spectacular, I was at a loss for commentary when I read them this morning.

message 3242: by [deleted user] (last edited May 30, 2013 03:54PM) (new)

Those were wonderful Guy, Belly and Ellis :))

Signs of Medieval Times

The Knights, guarding the
castle; Princess, doing the
needlework; Noble
Steed, galloping, while the King
is reading the Game of Thrones.

Good morning :) It's Friday, yey! and I'm silly.

message 3243: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha thank you captain :)

Beads, pins and needles;
wires, threads and polymer clay,
hidden in the chest.
I traded them all for what
I love doing best-writing.

message 3246: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Thank you, Ellis!
Leslie, writing may be what I love doing best. You’ve given me something to consider.

message 3247: by [deleted user] (new)

Hmm, I'm glad to have done that? :) For someone who has such a great talent in writing, I can't believe you haven't considered that yet.

message 3248: by M (last edited May 30, 2013 06:18PM) (new)

M | 11617 comments Such encouragement will get you everywhere! Did you need dishes washed, floors swept?

message 3249: by [deleted user] (last edited May 30, 2013 06:28PM) (new)

Lol! Hmm, let me see..

Can you watch over the kids? A 7-year old boy and a 3-year old girl, who's feigning innocence all the time? :)

Goodnight, M! :P

message 3250: by M (new)

M | 11617 comments Belly, that’s perfect! Along with “hollywood loves musclemen,” it’s one of my favorites that you’ve posted.
