message 4601: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I would have to disagree with that. There are some topics that are a little sensitive, but might be acceptable with time.

TPBM thinks it would be an awesome feature if smartphones could turn off their internet access without disabling basic functions (sort of like an adaptation of airplane mode).

message 4602: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Even though I'm a milennial and technology is in my blood (eye roll), smart phones confuse me and therefore I wouldn't know about their internet functions. I have a generic cell phone that I use for bumming rides and that's about it.

TPBM figuratively lives in the present and not in the past or future.

message 4603: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I'm trying to get there. But I'm an overplanner who spends too much time thinking about the future and running through possible disaster scenarios.

TPBM always defaults to the worst-case scenario when stressed.

message 4604: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I've tried to be a positive thinker over the past few weeks, so hopefully, I won't do that anymore.

TPBM isn’t easily disgusted by foods covered in liquid cheese and bacon bits.

message 4605: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) No, I like both equally.

TPBM wishes teen-angst vampires would die out so real vampires can come back and be awesome in the book world again.

message 4606: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Lord Gerard and Lord Mertuk could kick the crap out of Edward Cullen and Jacob Black any day of the week. You're welcome, Marie. :)

TPBM spells dialogue correctly even when it’s being spoken in a strange accent.

message 4607: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments Nope! - I hardly ever spell anything correctly and I probably do have a strange accent!!

TPBM
Is bored with vampires and werewolves and wants to be wowed by a new mythical creature.

message 4608: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments As long as that mythical creature doesn't come from Lovecraft's archives, then yes, that would be fine.

TPBM believes that creative fuel can literally come from anywhere.

message 4609: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Absolutely, I've had some weird inspirations before.

TPBM keeps a private journal for their thoughts.

message 4610: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Not any more.

TPBM is eating Jamaica's' national dish for dinner

message 4611: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I don't even know what Jamaica's national dish is.

TPBM has had a bad experience of someone reading their journal without permission.

message 4612: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments As long as I'm the one eating it, then yes, that'd be nice.

TPBM believes students shouldn’t be penalized for not speaking up in class.

message 4613: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments People have different ways of learning so I don't see why they should be punished.

TPBM is tired.

message 4614: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm pretty wide awake, but that may change as I try to get creative projects done today.

Marie (naturechild02) Amen!

TPBM likes Meghan Trainer and isn't afraid to admit it!

message 4616: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Never heard of her.

TPBM has writers block.

message 4617: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments With a seemingly endless supply of synopses saved on my computer, writer's block is the least of my worries.

message 4618: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I don't wear chap sticks.

TPBM has a migraine headache.

message 4619: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I like them both equally well. Comparing pizza to fried rice or spaghetti to chow mein is like comparing...well, to use another food analogy, apples and oranges.

TPBM is looking forward to the release of Three Days Grace’s “Human” album (especially after hearing the singles “I Am Machine” and “Painkiller”).

message 4620: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No, but only because I never heard of it. I now plan to look it up!

TPBM hates "The Bachelor" as much as I do.

message 4621: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I've never seen The Bachelor, but judging from the previews, I'm not going to start.

TPBM keeps his or her character count low when writing stories so that they’re easier to manage.

message 4622: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Sort of.

TPBM just ate

message 4623: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments The last time I ate was a few hours ago and it was three cups of ramen noodles. They were delicious, to say the least. :)

TPBM would rather plot a story out in advance instead of improvising.

message 4624: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Sunshine, action movies, beaches, bikinis: you won't find any of those things in winter. So yes, I believe summer is a superior season. Try saying that ten times fast.

TPBM likes to go out in public to read because it’s a change of scenery.

message 4625: by Caitlan (new)

message 4627: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments Depends on the level of difficulty of the thing I am doing.

Ate too much sugar.

message 4628: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) Not recently but I tend to do it sometimes.

TPBM doesn't wear much jewelry.

message 4629: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't have much of a need for jewelry. It doesn't really do anything except drain bank accounts.

TPBM has a loud sneeze.

message 4630: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments No,I've got a stuffy nose.

TPBM has run out of ideas.

message 4631: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope. I'm brimming with them ;)

TPBM has just finished a big project and now feels free too come on Goodreads or start a book.

message 4632: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments It'll be a while before my projects are finished. But since I can do them little by little instead of all at once, I get to enjoy those victories you were talking about, Angie. :)

TPBM at one point in his or her career had a ridiculous penname they still try to live down to this day (I used to call myself Ryu Bashir (yikes!)).

message 4633: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) No with pen names but my email, IM name, gaming IDs etc. are otakuqueen02 and naturechild02. Ridiculous? Maybe. Ashamed? Nope.

TPBM wants Chinese for dinner tomorrow night.

message 4634: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments When you say Chinese, you're talking about the food, right? Hehehehehe!

TPBM has a hard time adjusting to changes in his or her life.

message 4635: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments My life is constantly full of changes. That might just come from being a teenager and pretty much having to change my routine every semester because of school.

TPBM sets their clocks ahead by a couple minutes because they're perpetually late.

message 4636: by Nicky (new)

Nicky (soundgirl) | 1388 comments weirdly I do like my watch to be a bit ahead, not because I am late often but because I hate being late - being late makes me feel like I'm slightly out of sync with the universe and it takes me ages to get back into step!

TPBM likes order and pattern and continuity.

message 4637: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments As someone with autism, order and peace mean a lot to me, which is odd because I really like going to heavy metal and hard rock concerts whenever I get the chance.

TPBM believes college students should be allowed to get whatever degree they want regardless of the economy’s needs.

message 4638: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments They have a right to,but it makes no sense for them to spend time and money to do a degree and when they're finished they can't get a job.

TPBM drinks a-lot of water.

message 4639: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I do drink a lot of water, but it's mostly brewed into iced tea. Does that count?

TPBM feels just as tired after sleeping a long time as they do waking up earlier.

message 4640: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not really. I'm a morning person so I feel refreshed whenever I wake up so long as I have more than 7 hours of sleep.

TPBM has issues counting to twenty.

message 4641: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can't say that's ever happened to me before. I've always had good grades in math except for physics, so it's not really an issue.

TPBM doesn’t care about the size of a book when selecting something to read.

message 4642: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope. I'm primarily concerned with the quality of the writing. In fact, one of my favorite authors regularly published 600-1000 page books. (I read two of them in one week last summer.)

TPBM is craving something spicy.

message 4643: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Not at all.

TPBM is writing a novel

message 4644: by Garrison (new)

message 4649: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Not my family, but I'm currently listening to Pantera playing musical instruments, and playing them well, I might add. The song's called "This Love" and it's one of my favorites.

TPBM wants to participate in the Two-Sentence Horror Story thread, but doesn’t have any immediate ideas.

message 4650: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments How about:
Blood, lines the street, bones crunch under my feet
Bodies rot and stink-en in the heat,oh what joyous day!
(this may not be good cause I don't know if you're working with a topic plus I just built this on the spot)
