TPBM
Not only can I but I do. I love playing with the look, feel, sound, and texture of words and the malleability of their meanings.TPBM unexpectedly brought home a new book to read.
Not just a book, but two books. I got them both when I was vacationing in Canada. They're called "Super Human" by Michael Carroll and "The Silence of the Lambs" by god knows who.TPBM is a cheese aficionado.
Well, I write a lot of cheesy stuff, does that make me aficionado? I hope so, but probably not.TPBM will be watching snow fall at some point during their day tomorrow.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, so snow is inevitable.TPBM thinks the Keebler elves are so darn cute! ^_^
Well, it's about 70 or 80 degrees here. But I'm in Phoenix, AZ, so it's not that much above average.TPBM is creeped out by toe shoes and the fact that they only have four slots.
This person has no idea what toe shoes are, but recognizes that while we have five toes per foot, there is actually only four slots between toes, so is ambivalent about what having four slots in toe shoes might mean.TPBM is going to google what 'toe shoes' are after counting how many slots s/he has between their toes.
My brother is an exercise nut and owns a pair of toe-shoes, so I have all the information I need.TPBM has a dead celebrity they really miss.
Only during Mardi Gras. Hmmmm. Well, yes. Er no. TPBM helped New Orleans after Katrina by housing some of the displaced people.
I hate needles, so no dice.TPBM thinks soda tastes better coming out of a glass bottle or tin can than it does out of a plastic bottle.
I've never noted the difference before, but I've always felt way cooler drinking from a glass bottle.TPBM is surprised (and a bit disappointed) to find out that snowflakes are not symmetrical.
Lol,No I'm okay with life being more complicated than man's petty understandings of it.
TPBM will he cooking their first turkey dinner without mother to help.
No. I buy smoked turkeys, send them to other people, then have a club sandwich at a restaurant.TPBM has been to Taliesin West.
I would, but I can't eat cake anymore since I'm on a low-carb diet. TPBM thinks Dr. Phil is full of shit.
I've never seen an episode of Dr. Phil, so I can't really say.TPBM thinks that Santa Clause was an ingenious invention by parents to get their children to tell them what they want for Christmas.
While that may be true, I'm 28 years old and still make lists for what I want for Christmas and on my birthday.TPBM thinks growing up is overrated.
Despite my aversion to "growing up", I wouldn't want to relive my childhood again since that would mean I'd have to go back to middle and high school. TPBM chooses their next book to read at random from a pre-determined list (maybe their Good Reads "to-read" list).
It's not really random for me. I have a general idea of books I want to read and I read them as I get my hands on a copy.TPBM has tried wearing Christmas stockings (the ones you hang over the fireplace) as socks.
I listen to heavy metal and new age music side-by-side, so I guess I qualify. TPBM doesn't understand why fruitcake (the food, not the insult) has such a negative connotation.
Well, I never really think about what I want for Christmas, but seeing as I got a new laptop, I'd say that yes, I am very happy with it.TPBM knew what they were getting for Christmas prior to recieving it.
Considering the number of times I've had it break down on me, I'd say so.TPBM got a CD of some kind for Christmas.
Not so much a cd and not so much for Christmas. I did however get an iTunes card as an early birthday present. Does that count? TPBM got some type of electronic for Christmas and is still in the process of figuring out how to use it.
OOC: Yes, an iTunes card qualifies, Angie-Pie. :)IC: The only thing that qualifies as an electronic that I had a hard time figuring out was a Nightwish CD that I couldn't open the packaging to. CD packaging is a beast to get through without scissors or mom's fingernails.
TPBM likes Nightwish.
I've never heard of them, though the name sounds cool.TPBM sustains multiple injuries every Christmas from opening their presents.
I've stayed injury-free so far. Let's keep the streak going. TPBM thinks the name Zoltan Bathory is cool.
I agree. I have no idea who it is, but the name is cool.TPBM complains more when they get a paper cut than when they get a bruise.
I've only had one bruise my entire life (a black eye) and it hurt like a motherfucker. TPBM thinks dreadlocks are cool.
I think that it depends on the person. Not everyone can pull them off.TPBM considers themselves clumsy?
I'm pretty careful about the things that I carry (unless it's recyclables and they're overflowing, but that's another story for another day). TPBM hates watching the local news due to the number of violent stories they have.
Let's not forget all of the political crap that's also on there. (Though I'm not quite sure which is worse.)When TPBM is driving on the highway, they often wonder how some drivers got their licenses.
Welcome to Port Orchard, Washington: the city of bad drivers and my current place of residence.TPBM thinks Shakespeare is overrated.
I've been doing that a lot lately but have been sleeping a lot to borderline becoming comatose to make up for it. Not used to it at all.TPBM likes getting chocolate around Christmastime!
I probably like it more than I should :) So many sweets...TPBM loves putting bells in random places during Christmas time.
