Haha Probably.
TPBM checks his/her email every minute.
TPBM checks his/her email every minute.
My email checks me. Text and email notifications have forced me to keep my phone set to silent.TPBM isn't scared of clowns, but finds them exceptionally annoying
The entire concept of clowns makes no sense to me. The same with showmanship, slapstick comedy, and magic tricks.TPBM is glad to have a coffee pot. It’s cheaper than a Nordic Track.
Yes I am and yes it is. TPBM is surprised at home many scarcely used exercise machines make it into the dump.
The most exercise you get out of one of those things is taking it out to the garbage.TPBM likes red grapefruit.
Caligula? I suspect I would, but haven't made it to them yet. So many books, so little time.TPBM was delighted by the playfulness of language and the puns that infuse Umbeto Eco's Foucault's Pendulum.
I haven't read that one. It seems an interesting book based on the reviews.
TPBM doesn't like watching gory horror movies.
TPBM doesn't like watching gory horror movies.
True, but not because of the gore. They are just about the most boring film genre on the planet.TPBM likes watching foreign language films.
Since english is a foreign language for me, yes I do. But I do watch other foreign films, though not most of the time. I get hooked reading the subtitles.
TPBM has watched A Quiet Day in Belfast.
TPBM has watched A Quiet Day in Belfast.
Not yet.
TPBM is reading a book while watching a movie.
TPBM is reading a book while watching a movie.
Never. It has always struck me as a particularly odd thing to lose.TPBM can't find a book they want to cite something from.
Well, at the moment I have nothing I want to cite. If I did, though, I'm certain I'd have the same problem. I have too many books to keep track of all of them at once.TPBM is frustrated, having finally run out of room on her bookshelf, right when the summer book sales are about to start.
Well, once I've completed the sex change operation that is very true. And I just bought another one.TPBM prefers to hunt for used books than new books.
Lol!
True.
TPBM has more non-fiction books in his/her bookshelf.
True.
TPBM has more non-fiction books in his/her bookshelf.
Nope. Probably about equal fiction/non-fiction. Of course, Jungian psychology is a kind of fiction, so then that might tip it towards fiction.TPBM single greatest book find was in the 'to be destroyed/returned stack' from their local independent book store.
No lol
TPBM has read/will read The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
TPBM has read/will read The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
I don't see it often enough to find it irritating... yet.TPBM's heart melts when they hear the word "books." Ahhh. :P
((@ Leslie 3504 I am in the habit of thinking that effective people are highly overrated and even worse that whatever makes them effective will not be found in their habits. I suspect that doing things like hanging around the WSS would be excluded from life for most of these kinds of people because the concept of 'effective' delimits the purpose of life to material achievement. And that is perhaps the least interesting thing in life to live for.))No, because books have now become too fully infused into my bloodstream.
TPBM finds people who are focused solely on job advancement to be very boring.
LoL! Yes! But in the end all you'd have is money and not undying friendship.No.
TPBM has studied mathematics in university.
No... I very rarely read comic books.TPBM just realized that they would probably test as clinically crazy, if anyone bothered to take the time to test them.
Just finished. I am glad I got it done now and not have to do it later which probably would not have happened!TPBM likes comic books but wouldn't consider their self a "snob." :P hehe.
Oh, absolutely!!! That's my ideal rainy day, right there. (That, with some peppermint tea, and I'm set.)TPBM loves banana bread.
Yes though I have raspberry sherbet that will do just nicely. And I LOVE banana bread!
TPBM was so glad desserts were invented! :D
Oh God, yes!!! I could not survive without deserts. Especially ones with chocolate in them. XDTPBM is never sick of eating chocolate deserts.

No. I’m not much on sweets.TPBM finds it interesting to see actors from the Harry Potter movies in other things. (This weekend, I watched an awful British movie that had Imelda Staunton in it.)
I go through times like that, usually when there’s so much to be done, it seems hopeless. Then, to get anything accomplished, I have to prioritize and break things down into small, manageable steps.TPBM is already on a second cup of coffee.
Still finishing first. With a blueberry foccacia, for breakfast.TPBM makes their own blueberry scones.
I have not (yet) and am very interested to hear Belly's tale.TPBM thought Lance Armstrong was the one who landed on the moon?
Actually, I thought he was from the moon.TPBM thinks that the moon as a metaphor for anything is at best ambivalent.
Having made a moon landing or two myself, I’m not surprised to find out that DJ Lance (whoever he may be) has made one.TPBM likes olives stuffed with garlic.
Has the person above me had many positive experiences along those lines?TPBM is ready for a long cocktail hour.
No, I like my hours to be no more than 60 minutes, tops.TPBM has had several interesting conversations and at least one meaningful relationship that has developed out of a book s/he was reading while on a commuter bus or train.
Don't ride the bus, and the train was too bumpy to read. M, I'm definitely ready for an extended happy hour, CHEERS!
TPBM is going to set their phone to silent, and enjoy the rest of their night uninhibited from any more calls from work
