TPBM
No. I went to work today, that was bad enough. Just kidding! (Mostly.) No, horror movies invariably bore me silly.TPBM is in need of reading something really funny and uplifting.
Well, TPBM is reading a dystopian novel right now, so some cheeriness would be nice. On the flip side, I'm enjoying my dystopian book too much to switch. XDTPBM wishes they had more time to write between school, volleyball, soccer, homework, taking care of the dog, and chores...
I had that problem last night. Ended up falling asleep in the living room.TPBM does not know what to do today besides what they have to do much later.
Wow! I don't remember the last time I've had that 'problem'.TPBM is working away like mad at something very important and very boring.
Maybe, if you take out the “working away like mad” and “something very important” qualifications.TPBM wonders how the middle of the week got here so fast.
Nope, too busy to speculate ... hey! Is it the middle of the week already? OMG!TPBM is going to be building something out of wood later today.
Nope! I paid my dues. They're all grown up and gonna give me grandchildren one of these years.TPBM is tearing out his/her hair with boredom.
No. I’ve been doing laundry. I can hardly stand the excitement!TPBM is going to have her daughters make her a nice dinner tonight.
Yeah, falling asleep hungry isn't all that easy or great.TPBM is SO tired even though they shouldn't be.
Well, I just woke up, but feel less rested than I'd imagined I'd be.TPBM is waiting for inspectors this morning before starting their 'real' day.
Thank goodness no, but I have been there before. TPBM is enjoyed a massive banana split with extra chocolate sauce?
Yes, I am. I've a very curious e.mail from someone that is definitely odd and intriguing.TPBM has been too busy to TPBM.
I will neither confirm nor deny that. :-PActually, I am pleasantly tired and will undoubtedly fall asleep despite my efforts to stay awake.
TPBM just finished building and painting something for the home.
That sounds delicious (and healthy! That I could use for my diet)!TPBM forgot how involved it was to fill out an online (and Timed!) job application.
Nope. I'm going through my mail and stuff. Also debating whether or not to eat at the moment.TPBM has had a busy day today.
I kinda wish I did. This week I am off from doing my usual stuff. Been feeling really off of the ball lately.TPBM is either relaxing or stressing and hoping to cool down.
Relaxing after having workmen installing laundry equipment. @ Al #3207 — Yes, I built a raised platform for my wife's new washer and dryer. She can't bend over well, and the new front loader is very low. Also, because I raised it 13" I had to tear the wall apart and raise the dryer vent. Then, of course, fix the wall. Fun, even though ML freaks out when I start doing home repairs. But now that it's done, you can't tell I did any work!
TPBM will be going out for supper tonight to celebrate the new stuff.
No, but I will celebrate your home improvement victory with a nice grilled steak and bottlr of not as nice wine. Congrats ! TPBM is enjoying their current book.
Not mocha. But I am enjoying a not so nice bottle of cabernet. (you only really taste the first glass anyway, right?) Nice to hear your enjoying your book(s); who reads just one at a time anymore? Lol, I'm the same way myself. TPBM will get a relaxing night of blissful sleep.
Sorry, but I, in my advancing senescence, don't know them. Unless you are referring to the car game?@ Al. You make time. But other things get squeezed out: no new popcorn or muse corn, skipped the weekly stories and stuffage. And in the end she is very appreciative because, thank the hearth gods, it turned out well.
@ Zack, thank you for participating in our celebration. I tried a glass of new to me white (Italian Pinot Grigio), but it was disappointing! And I only had one glass — pre-dinner drink, so stuck with it. But the food was excellent: cajun chicken fajitas with fresh guac and sliced jalapeños.
TPBM was surprised to discover how good Moby Dick, the novel, is.
@GUY: I prefer a red, but never pass on a white- or anything containing an alcohol content slightly above that of yeast bread. I do know how stressful it is to overtake a project within the home, so congrats, and am glad to hear it all worked out for the best. CHEERS!YES, I was surprised indeed. Quite overwhelming in length, but well worth it.
TPBM will read Moby Dick at least once in their lifetime.
Uuuuhhhhh...no. Tried it once, couldn't tolerate it.TPBM is secretly reading a smut novel because thinking of going back to work in three days after being off six weeks is too stressful.
Andrea, I hope things go well back at work! No. Lamentably for me, I like stories that are suggestive but that aren’t very graphic. Otherwise, I’d be happily writing erotica.
I had a steak last night (well done, of course), with asparagus and red potatoes. I didn’t uncork a bottle of wine, but had my usual sour mash.
TPBM isn’t reading this but is still sound asleep.
Nope, nothing yet. About to break out the continental breakfast to nibble on with my coffee while I begin settling into work.TPBM will be enjoying a blueberry buttermilk scone with their coffee later this morning.
If you count an entire pot of coffee a large breakfast, then yes.TPBM is staying warm in this chilly weather.
It certainly might have helped me work off some of the club sandwich I had for lunch!TPBM is ready to relax and enjoy the late afternoon.
Yup; re-heating the FANTASTIC pasta meal from last night.TPBM likes homemade tomato based pasta sauces.
Well, getting tired of being surrounded by tired people! And, yes, I am also heavy of lid and slow of mind.TPBM is looking forward to sleeping deeply and have a dream so funny you wake up laughing in your sleep.
Isn’t it horrible? But, yes.TPBM is going to have an unexpected encounter with someone very interesting today!
nope, nothing out of the ordinary. TPBM loves the new topic for this weeks competition and can't wait to begin their entry.
