I have decided to redefine 'productive' as 'interesting' and so get to have my cake and eat it too.

TPBM will be baking a cake for someone's birthday today. (And they'll notice that Guy has made a hidden reference to 'counting' as in the counting of years.)

Nope, but I did just turn in all my work that I missed on Friday! That should bring up my grade from a D XP

TPBM is failing half their classes.

Did I just read that? I assumed you were making high grades. (I suppose one alway assumes.) Kat, you’re so bright, so talented, I can’t even imagine such a thing.

TPBM thinks that a cold night, a private library, the taste of sherryh, and an intriguing old book all go together nicely.

Actually, these do sound particularly suited to one another, much like cinnamon and apple. All that's missing is something to nosh on.

LoL! Well, as a matter of fact Guy is wanting to rant in popcorn style in the writing, art meaning thread. But I keep getting distracted.

TPBM is listening to/watching the live performance production of Steve Reich's Drumming. [Note that this TPBM has once again incorporated Guy's fixation on counting because counting the beat is important in this piece which has a 12/8 time signature and a moving rhythm.]

Define fixation! And don't refer to my fushigi thing. Okay, just to give you an idea, one of my favourite movies is the rather terrible Electra, most likely because Electra has a counting OCD.

Yep. I was typing a school paper. My teacher gave us an eight paragraph assignment to do over the weekend. It's not actually that much, even for middle school, but it's like a perpetual-motion machine: Whenever I write something, it needs editing, and then once I'm done editing, there's more to write, and then that needs editing...

TPBM is a little frustrated by not being able to wrap up a measly eight-paragraph assignment.

I hate writing assignments, so if I had one regardless of length I would be more than a little frustrated by it.
