And that is why you're an undiscovered Taoist! I go on about these kinds of things too. And I've had dreams so real that when I've 'woken' up I am not sure that I actually have. It has, at times, actually lead to minor confusion. And it, kind of scarily, gives one a hint of what it means to be mad. Anyway, to Al's TPBM - I will be asleep in less than 2 minutes after laying down.
TPBM will actually have a great sleep tonight, despite what they anticipate.
I hope so... and that is true. I figure I won't but I guess I'll see...TPBM thinks the US version of the show The Office is getting pretty desperate for laughs (and yes it is going off the air this season so that doesn't really matter I guess. :)).

No, I still have tons of stuff to do before I rest. XP
TPBM wants to watch their favorite show.
I don’t have a favorite show. There are particular episodes I like, mostly in old series such as Wanted: Dead or Alive or the original Star Trek, where the episodes aren’t part of a story arc, but stand alone.Alex wrote: “Like Plato’s cave, sort of . . .” I’ve been to Plato’s Cave! Isn’t that a lounge in Dallas?
TPBM likes getting up when the rest of the world is still asleep.
Yes. I love those days when you wake up bright and early, and don't even feel tired! Unfortunately, that doesn't happen to me very often. I love sleep :)TPBM is still in highschool.
No! Well, wishing is not required. Now that decrepitude is slowing down body and brain function, but not the kidney's, the day's speed is accelerating me towards the great sleep.TPBM has already begun their work day with a smile.
It’s not cold here, but my stomach is starting to look forward to a cheeseburger for lunch!TPBM is floored by the fact that a high-school student has written six novels.
Yes! TPBM has, with that, decided to write at least one before lunch to make up for lost time and a misspent youth.
Yes, way over slept. Now I'm going to be up late packing. Oh well, I love packing when everyone is asleep, less chance of getting disturbed.TPBM ate eggs for breakfast?
Nope. Continental breakfast: coffee and homemade pastry.TPBM suspects that bacon would taste good even when made into ice cream.
I think about 85 percent of people are immature regardless of their age, but almost all highschoolers fall in the 85 percent. However I tend to believe it is not their own fault but rather the teachers and parents raising said children,t he lack of limits and responsibility and I have now gone on too long. I'll stop now.TPBM sometimes does long rants?
Dumpster diving. I don’t need a waterproof watch for that.TPBM knows what a decompression chamber is.
Well, no. Girlfriend and neck, which has, very unusually, I giant knot in it.TPBM likes peanut butter and banana sandwichs.
No, I am cooking like crazy for my 15hr car trip tomorrow, and I haven't even begun to pack yet! It's going to be a long night.TPBM make peanut butter cookies without the peanut butter?
Oops! Slip of the fingers, Al. That was 'massage therapist' not 'girlfriend'. Yikes. What the fingers will type when you're not paying attention. LoL! Unfortunately my wife is a very poor at given massages. And I would like to blame the yoga, but I would like even better to blame work.Well, I love almond butter, and could see them making excellent cookies. And one time I made a marzipan cake that was one of the best cakes I've very made.
Well, I get out quite a lot. But need to fit more active exercising outside the home.
TPBM has tried baking with de-yolked eggs and thought, wow, what a waste of time.
I do need to get out more and I have baked with egg whites :D And other than a delicious frosting and a horrid merang they are for the most part a waste. Oh except angle food cake.......hmmm......TPBM wishes to see a movie in 3D?
Well, I opted to 'need' coffee. So, fresh brew!TPBM is aware that TPBMs are a distraction from 'real' writing, but can't seem to stop doing them.
Hahaha yes! and packing :DTPBM always thinks it's funny when TPBM get posted so fast you get skipped?
Alas, I can no longer distinguish these from the real writing.TPBM would like to have slept in this morning but has things to do.
I actually got sleep last night. That is something so unusual for me since my sleep schedule is so hectic I get as many hours of sleep from 3 to 10 hours of sleep. I do have things to do though.TPBM enjoys chocolate soy milk.
I do when I have it, but don't have it very often. Lately I've been enjoying soy-milk matcha lattés with a dash of vanilla powder.TPBM enjoys goat milk even more than soy milk.
I've never had soy milk but I only like goat milk if it's chocolate goat milk.TPBM just got their laptop today!!!
No. I got mine in the spring, but it is strictly for work.I've never tried chocolate goat milk, but it sounds yummy. Hmmmm. maybe I'll make some hot chocolate tonight.
TPBM is going to make hot chocolate tonight.
I am with the mandatory 'but'. I've promised a friend I'd create a music track in garage band, and so will likely being that instead. And I've got a poster to edit for my upcoming course. TPBM is excited to read something by Umberto Eco.
@ Stephanie: Gasp! Y-y-y-you've never heard of Umberto Eco?!!!! Be still my racing heart. [Pauses for breath and thought.] Oh, I forgot just how young you are. Okay. I can carry on living again, but put him on your read list. The world of literature is a universe in which it is possible to establish whether a reader has a sense of reality or is the victim of his [or her] own hallucinations.andOn Literature.
This man, a failure since birth, not only reads, he also writes. I could write, too, could add my own monsters to those that scuttle with their ragged claws across the silent sea floors. That man ruins his eyes over pages on which he sets down his obsessions in muddy ink from inkwells whose bottoms are thick with sludge, like Turkish coffee. He ruined them as a boy, reading by candlelight; he ruined them in the penumbra of libraries, his eyelids reddening. He writes with the help of strong lenses, dogged by fears of going blind. If not blind, then paralytic — his nerves are shot, he has pains and numbness in one leg, his fingers twitching involuntarily, his head shakes badly. He writes with his thick glasses nearly touching the page.andThe Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana.
"...let me think. We need a closing with a pointe...."He's in the top five favourite writers of fiction for me.
"A what?"
"Yes, an act of the intellect that expresses the inconceivable correspondence between two objects, beyond all belief, so that in this pleasant play of wit any concern for substance is happily lost. The Island of the Day Before.
No, no headache. And after 36 hours, the knot in my neck is finally clearing.
TPBM had chicken for supper.
I had a few pieces of popcorn chicken, if that counts.Wow, Guy. I surprising really enjoyed the excerpts there. I don't think I've ever ready anything that I've enjoyed only because of the writing and not the actual content. Wow. I'll have to check him out.
TPBM is getting ready to go to bed. Maybe....
No the sun rose an hour ago and I've decided to enjoy the hour of light that is left before the day ends and things returns to night, though sometimes it is nice to go out in the middle of the day and see the stars.TPBM is thinking about The Island of the Day Before it is a good memory.
Fireproof fabric, thetailor knows, makes for M the
safest Sunday clothes.
Oh. I see that I’m in the wrong thread for haiku.
Ooo, ooh! Over here!!!TPBM is developing a headache from all the new characters popping up in their head... and is currently cursing the nerve of their muse for forcing them into creation...
LoL! No, not actually because now I'm laughing too hard. Actually, I am wrestling between writing for the prompt, responding to email, changing my poster and creating music in Garage Band. With so many choices, the odds are I'll just wind up sitting in the corner, spewing gibberish and picking my nose compulsively with the vain hope that some of the poking will stimulate the brain into making a decision.TPBM is currently struggling to decide which way to waste their time today, producitvely.
LOL!!! No, I'm just doing whatever... but now, nothing'll get done, which is probably even worse.TPBM wishes they had motivation to actually do something productive...
Floors . . . my wife would probably love it if I would mop and wax the floors.TPBM has seen Close Your Eyes. (What’s not to like about Shirley Henderson, aka Moaning Myrtle?)
Eh.. no, sorry.TPBM found another slew of songs on iTunes to add to their wonderfully random and odd music collection.
