Nope. Tear it apart! The wrapping paper is just going to go into the trash anyway.TPBM has a autographed copy of The Hunters!

I can guess M that you sometimes like to save up your wrapping paper.
I wish that we had good wrapping paper to save. We always get the stuff that if you kept the rolls in the basement for a week it would all fall apart.
No, but I'm excited for you that must have. The only signed book I have is The Cat's Table by Michael Ondaatje. I got it signed at a book reading. TPBM has never heard of Michael Ondaatje.
Actually, it was an easy decision: On Literature by Umberto Eco.Hello Al! I hope the PJ's Hannah gave you fit. And, more than that, I hope that Christmas was a good one for you. If you would like a suggestion, try Helpless: A Novel by Barbara Gowdy.
TPBM managed to keep their overconsumption of calories to a minimum this Christmas.
Well, no, my early morning is moving along in a funnish worded way: I'm writing a review and fushigi blog of an excellent novel — all about food and eating — called Stanley Park. I am sorry to see that you are still not sleeping!TPBM will have fallen asleep before s/he reads this TPBM post.
You caught it. I faded out about a half hour ago but woke up and don't think I am going to bed for at least a little while.TPBM wonders about the dangers of insomnia. :P
Sigh, if I didn't fall asleep so easily, I am sure that it would fear of it would keep me awake at night.TPBM is more afraid of the long term affects of sleeping pills than s/he is of insomnia.
Actually I have never worried or have become afraid of the long term affects of sleeping pills. I have never taken them.TPBM has found the Hobbit movie to be awesome! :D
No. I like to get up very early, when it’s quiet and everyone else is asleep.TPBM writes stories mostly at a computer, rather than with a pen.
Well, I just came from flossing my teeth. Not sure that that counts.Christmas was lovely!
TPBM was surprised at the number of WSS posts that were made during Christmas day.
Actually, today I have good energy, most likely because I got more than my usual 5-6 hours sleep.TPBM thinks that boxing day sales are a waste of having a day off the day after Christmas.
No. I urgently need to fold socks (among other things), however.TPBM finds writing almost as addicting as coffee.
If you mean that I kill it by shaving it off my head, then yes. However, if you mean it has been fluffed and goo-ed up, then no.TPBM is listening to Charlie Winston's Secret Girl.
I have a wonderful pair of boots that are just perfect for snow! I wear them often.TPBM thinks Anne Rice’s novels would be better if they were tranlated into French, from French to Chinese, then back into English.
Nope. No flu but tired nonetheless. TPBM is hoping that Alex's flu runs off into far-away-land and she gets well soon.
Nope, unfortunately. I had a good time though, watching 'The Hobbit' and then buying a handful of books. But I have no idea what a drunken ham is?! Google showed me something delicious-looking. Recipes please? TPBM wants to drink some tea and write some poetry but is unable to.
Absolutely, but I'd like to drink a beer. Make that ham drunk. http://www.grouprecipes.com/32908/whi...TPBM is off to a post-christmas-social event. Hubby doesn't want to wear a suit. Don't blame him.
@ 2467 Alex (Al) wrote: "TPBM is wondering why Guy shaves his head."Well, yes, as a matter of fact. Guy originally shaved his head because his wife ganged up with their hair cutter. They were convinced Guy had the 'perfectly' shaped head to be clean shaven — although Guy has no idea what, exactly, that means. So, after about 5 years of this, and having his hair cut with the number '0' cutter, Guy thought 'Okay. It's thinning anyway, and I will grow it back in the winter.' Alas, when Guy went to grow it back, he found that he didn't like having hair anymore. Now he pretty much faced with shaving it every day instead of having it trimmed once a month. He doesn't understand this at all!
@ 2478 Rose. Nope, No post-Christmas do. Which suits me just fine.
TPBM doesn't like the dark meat, and winds up using it in soup or tossing into the trash.
I've already had my share of the dark chocolate, so that is fine. The tub would be nice. (And I love the dark meat, too.)As to the facial hair, I keep it on my face because ML begged me to grow it back when I did shave it because it turned out that my face was putting the integrity of our mirrors in jeopardy.
TPBM would find that Cold FX would help shorten the duration and minimize the symptoms of the flu and/or cold.
Oh, a nice, deep, steaming tub would be nice, and the eye-doctor’s black-haired wife to bring me another cocktail.TPBM is halfway through a spellbinding novel!
My nook does not require power, fortunately. It is filled with my favourite books, and is ready as long as there is light. Nor has it committed any crimes, lest it be to encourage independent thought. TPBM prefers raven coloured hair to blond.
I've got the coffee, but have the ironing and starching to M.TPBM is chewing on a delicious spicy shortbread cookie while sipping on a nice cup of coffee.
I wish! That sounds awesome. And I know what Boxing Day is Guy. I know that it is celebrated in Canada.
TPBM is hopefully not too worn out from these just-passed holidays.
Boxing Day is also celebrated in England. And when I arrived there I had no idea what the name was about. I found out it as the day when the poor used to pass with the Christmas box for alms.TPBM is about to wake up properly.
I keep thinking that. Probably one of my vacuum tubes has finally burned out.TPBM wonders how Thursday got here so fast!
There aren't any Christmas cookies in the house, let alone in the freezer over here.TPBM has almost ate all the good chocolate.
Yes. If it were criminal to kill time, I’d be serving several life sentences.Holy smoke! I just looked at the Poetry group poll, and it’s stranger than something in one of my stories. I kept wondering if I were really seeing it. Thank you, Stephanie and Rose! I appreciate your enthusiasm more than you can imagine.
TPBM had an interesting experience at lunch.
