Well, I created a new post in the Haiku thread, and my gender — at least the last time I checked — was not female.

TPBM just woke from a LONG nap after a very stressful week.

Nope got a small amount of sleep this day but made up for it in the evening.

TPBM is dreading someone is doing this weird thread stuff on purpose.

That would be absolutely awful! I think I spent an hour yesterday trying to figure out which threads were still good and I didn't even touch half of them.

TPBM is thinking that they're going to write a story this week.

Yes, yes I think I will. It is raining buckets here so it is a good time to sit with a cup of tea, turn on some music and write!

TPBM still feels like writing but the computer still isn't free! And I'm feeling pretty productive/motivated right now.

Well, except for my paying for access to the internet and buying the computer, it is indeed free. I am writing, but nothing of importance: another fushigi blog. And the odd WSS post.

TPBM does not find blogging to be an interesting way of writing.

I enjoy blogging but when it comes to actually reading someone else's I tend to skim.

TPBM is sad that their dad threw The Hobbit away and is not willing to pay 7 bucks for it.

Nope. Well, it was an older copy but it was the only one we had and I wantef to reread it before I saw the movie.

TPBM is really excited Crosby and Jasmine are getting back together. Sorry, guys, I'm watching Parenthood on Netflix and am, well, excited.

Well, I finally finished my extended book review blog of the amazing book The Singing Creek Where the Willows Grow: The Rediscovered Diary of Opal Whiteley. That has been hanging over my head for a while, and so it feels good to get that done.

TPBM has managed to avoid watching the 'Home Alone' movies without suffering irreparably psychological damage.

I actually kind of like the Home Alone movies but mostly because they remind of when I was little and would go visit my grandpa for Christmas.

I don't remember, I have listened to it twice a year since I was seven and read it three or four time, I don't remember what the second time was like.

LoL! Yes! I am an odd ball, and am perverse in just about everything I see relative to just about everyone around me.

Maybe. I've eaten some chocolate, drank some milk, and at one point drove across a road under repair.

TPBM knows what a Taoist is, but doesn't have the words to describe what that is.

No. When I understand something, I have little difficulty finding words to explain it. I discover what I don’t understand when I attempt to explain it and find myself at a loss for words. The most I can say for certain about the Tao is that is has something to do with Lao Tzu and Winnie the Pooh.

TPBM likes a cup of coffee in the afternoon.

I do indeed! But, sigh, I mostly try to restrict myself to the morning coffee because my body's pH level is abnormally acidic and coffee is listed as one of the most powerful acidifying agents I can ingest.

As to your comment about understanding, I am the same way. It is why I love to teach. As soon as I am teaching, and I don't know how to explain something, in a myriad of different ways, that is when I know I haven't understood that subject. Teaching is, for me, the absolute best means of learning.

TPBM has at least one more book review to write before the week is out.

Just starting to. I will be putting the lamb chops into the oven soon. Mashed potatoes and steamed brussels sprouts. Earlier today I candied 2 cups of orange peel. DELICIOUS!

Thank goodness no. Last time a car was towed for me, I was out of the country. Granted, I was only a few hours away from the border, but still. Breaking down in the middle of traffic isn't fun.

No. If only simple math were available, some engineering projects would be more difficult or impossible.

Yup. Cold weather isn't fun unless I can look at it from inside and warm house and there's snow on the ground.
