message 5501: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I don't write haikus, so I don't have to worry about that.

TPBM prioritizes individuality before success.

message 5502: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, definitely. Social success is not always worth it.

TPBM is slightly peeved when a car named after a color that doesn't match its paint. (i.e. a red Cobalt or green Silverado)

message 5503: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I wouldn't necessarily say it peeves me, but yeah, that is rather odd.

TPBM is responsible with his or her money.

message 5504: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, partly because I'm extremely pragmatic and don't like buying things I don't absolutely need, and partly because I'm OCD about numbers and I don't really like buying things with prices that aren't round numbers.

TPBM is always conflicted about starting a spinoff to their favorite series (book, movie, or TV show).

message 5505: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, not always, as I rarely find myself drawn to spin-offs.

TPBM has cheesecake in the fridge for tomorrow!

message 5506: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments It'd be nice if I did, especially one with strawberry swirls and a graham cracker crust! Mmm-mmm-mmm!

TPBM subscribes to Buzz Feed.

message 5507: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments I actually do if you're talking of Youtube! While not all their videos are in my interests I think the channel is okay.

TPBM is going to make an exciting dish (or grill) on the 4th of July!!

message 5508: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I think my step-dad Dale is going to do most of the cooking that day. If he is, I'd like some hotdogs and hamburgers, mmm-mmm-mmm!!

TPBM used to wear sunglasses everywhere he or she went despite the time of day.

message 5509: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope, I only recently started wearing sunglasses at all, and it's because I've spent more time outside during the afternoon and because I've started driving.

When TPBM sees a motorcyclist driving recklessly on the freeway, they wish that that person would try to be safer.

message 5510: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I mostly just wait for them to crash and give them space away from me to do so.

TPBM panics and runs through a mental list of everything they've done recently when a parent uses their full name.

message 5511: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Who doesn't?

TPBM is in a family so large that their parents only get their name right when they're in trouble.

message 5512: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I'm not the only one? Yay. This happens way to often.

TPBM is at a loss of what to do with rain threatening to ruin all of their plans.

message 5513: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, as it is now so dry and hot for so long, water restrictions and fire bans are rapidly increasing throughout the area.

TPBM is wondering if today is a good day to make homemade pizza from scratch.

message 5514: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I know it's not a good day because my family has lots if plans for the Fourth.

TPBM notices and cares what tense a story is in when reading.

message 5515: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I know what they are, but I don't really care.

TPBM has found a show on Netflix/Hulu/Etc and binge-watched it because it was so good.

message 5516: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments That show would be NCIS: Los Angeles, which I'm not discovering for the first time, but playing catch-up with. The show coincides with WWE Monday Night Raw, so I had to make a decision between the two.

TPBM can crack his or her neck in both directions.

message 5517: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I just tried for the first time, and apparently I can.

TPBM finds popping joints to be a disgusting way to ease tension.

message 5518: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I don't find it disgusting at all. In fact, I think the sound of cracking joints is therapeutic. I crack my fingers, toes, ankles, wrists, and elbows all the time.

TPBM was once on a medication that put him or her in a constant state of numbness.

message 5519: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) No, I have no idea what would do that but it sounds terrifying.

TPBM has a bucket list they're working on.

message 5520: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I have a lot of lists on my computer, but a bucket list isn't one of them.

TPBM had a hard time sleeping on July 4th due to all the fireworks going off outside.

message 5521: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Hmm. Not really a list. But with getting old I realized I would die before I'd read all the good books, and so I have changes my priorities and the things I am making time to do with my precious remaining moments.

TPBM goes through periods of being unable to read books.

message 5522: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments @ Garrison. No. The sound of America's fireworks did not bother my sleep.

[For TPBM see previous post.]

message 5523: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I can read books anytime I want except for when I'm being interrupted or there are loud noises going on around me.

TPBM is hungry for Doritos.

message 5524: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I'm not particularly fond of Doritos, except maybe the cool ranch kind. But I'm not craving them at this moment.

TPBM feels a quiet sense of pride when they arrive at a restaurant a few minutes before the lunch rush.

message 5525: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I cherish any time when I enter a public establishment and there are hardly any people there. It would have been nice if the YMCA instructional pool wasn't crowded today, but it is what it is, so I walked on the track above which was less crowded.

TPBM doesn’t like to do jigsaw puzzles because all of the pieces look the same.

message 5526: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I actually love jigsaw puzzles! I'm OCD and there's a definite satisfaction in putting a puzzle together.

TPBM doesn't know what to do after finishing a puzzle, because it feels wrong to just tear it apart again.

message 5527: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments It wouldn't be a bad idea to take a picture of it and post it on whatever social media sites you're a part of. Hell, I once put a Scrabble game on Deviant Art because I got 30 points off of the word "bitch". True story. Hehe!

TPBM is a good Scrabble player.

message 5528: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I'm not a very good speller, so not really XD

TPBM thinks the scariest part of trying to kill a cockroach is the moment you remember that they have wings.

message 5529: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) My bug horror is glancing away to get a flyswatter or something and it vanishing.

TPBM will actively not read/watch something due to the amount of hype around it.

message 5530: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not necessarily. Sometimes the hype turns out to be true. I'll usually wait until a lot of people whose opinions I respect read said book to hear if it lives up to its reputation.

TPBM checks their Goodreads updates during their lunch breaks.

message 5531: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I check them frequently whether they're during lunch time or otherwise.

TPBM thinks it would be cool if a fantasy story had a warrior character who used a spear that had deer antlers instead of a steel tip.

message 5532: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I agree! I love unconventional weapons :) In my current story (which has been sadly neglected these past few weeks) there's a type of tree sap that becomes harder than diamond after baking, that's used to make swords.

TPBM hates it when an eye lash gets in their eye and won't come out.

message 5533: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes, especially when i'm in the middle of something.

TPBM is sick but doesn't know what he/she has.

message 5534: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I'm feeling quite healthy, actually. I just came back from the YMCA after 45 minutes of water walking, so I'm doing good.

TPBM knows at least one person with the last name John instead of first name.

message 5535: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope.

TPBM loves to eat.

message 5536: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments Do I ever! I'm like Ryback from the WWE: "Feed me more! Feed me more! Feed me more!"

TPBM can’t eat more than one plate of food when he or she goes to a buffet.

message 5537: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments It depends on the food and the type of event. If it's a classy event i'll eat about a half plate but if not....

TPBM is alredy tired of the summer heat.

message 5538: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I enjoy sunshine, just not being sweaty and hot all the time. My bedroom, even with both fans running, is easily the hottest room in the house.

TPBM thinks it would be cool if a fantasy story had a wizard character who used a snake as a whip.

message 5539: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Some imagination you've got there. No I think snakes should be contained far away from civilization.

TPBM just watched a funny video.

message 5540: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I watched a Buzz Feed video of cats acting like dogs, so that qualifies. I have a kitty who acts like a dog named Tori. She likes to go for rides in the car and dig up holes in the backyard, just like a puppy. We call her Tori the Catdog. ^_^

TPBM recently finished writing the first draft of a novel.

message 5541: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I wish! I have yet to finish a draft of any novels I've started.

TPBM is going to have fried chicken for dinner.

message 5542: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments No fried chicken for me. Just leftovers, which hopefully are just as yummy.

TPBM has plans to read “Paper Towns” by John Green now that he or she knows it’s going to be a movie.

message 5543: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I didn't know it was to be a movie.

TPBM always reads the book before watching the movie

message 5544: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I'm too old for always anything. And, in a reversal of the norm, I read the book 'The Reader' *because* of the movie, and was very disappointed. A the movie was so much better then the book.

TPBM has had at least one experience of enjoying a movie version of a book more then the book.

message 5545: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments That movie would be "Thinner" by Stephen King. Disturbing as hell, to say the least.

TPBM gets giddy inside whenever he or she hears the "Everything Is Awesome" song from The Lego Movie.

message 5546: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I've never seen that movie, so I don't know the song.

TPBM has liked a parody of a song, but not the song itself.

message 5547: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments Often.

TPBM dislikes pop music.

message 5548: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Most, but not all. One of the curious things about getting old, is that what is popular changes and that there is cream in the crop that will rise and last over time. But generally, I prefer unpopular music.

TPBM will enjoy Weathered.

message 5549: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10190 comments I don't know if I'll enjoy Weathered or not, because the link is broken. Oh well.

TPBM has a music CD that saved his or her life.

message 5550: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I can't say I have.

TPBM is having trouble thinking of a story for this week's contest.
