TPBM
I do not, because nursery rhymes are mosly pretty creepy to begin with.TPBM likes reading the history and origins of nursery rhymes.
YES. Recently I learned that the phrase "pull yourself up by you bootstraps" was used to point out when someone was being foolish, because it defies the laws of physics to pull yourself up using your own boot straps. In America we have turned it into something admirable and even desirable.TPBM hopes the sun comes out soon!!

I am not hoping for it, because it is! :-)TPBM is writing frivolous stuff at work while waiting for their computer to stop grinding it's gears.
In order for that to happen, I have to have a job, which I haven't had since graduating from college in 2009. Yikes!TPBM likes to visit the Articles on Writing thread on a frequent basis.
No. But only because I didn't know it existed.TPBM is sometimes a little scared of their own thought processes.
I'm very afraid of my own mind. It takes me along very dark paths. I can begin writing a story that is cheerful and sweet and suddenly it gets dark and morbid. Let's just keep this place closed to the public.
TPBM is starting a new weight loss program tomorrow and is pretty confident about it, for once.
I am not. I have always considered my self, and its components to be pretty worthless and skanky.TPBM accepts death as a natural and necessary part of being alive.
I have no fear of death. It is one of the few things in life that is guaranteed. TPBM has tried to teach themselves a language.
I have, three, more or less. All efforts ultimately not successful, but I found my appreciation and understanding of the etymology and meaning of words enriched.TPBM is fascinated by Latin.
No, I can't say that I am. I like Greek, but that's only because of the prefixes and suffixes that I can mix and match.TPBM considers themselves to be straightedge.
I am not sure, any more, what that means, exactly. I think I used to be. But if that means honest to myself and others, then yes.TPBM has become adept at sharpening to a razor's their kitchen knives.
I don't have an overwhelming need for sharp kitchen knives, so no, I can't say I have. On a side note, being straightedge means you don't smoke, do drugs, or drink alcohol.
TPBM has pictures of their pets they’d like to post to the Photos thread.
Sadly, I don't have any pets. When TPBM sees animals out in public, they feel the need to go pet them.
Absolutely. Head fuzzles, ear rubs, and back scratches for any puppy-duppy walking the streets with his or her master. ^_^TPBM celebrates Throwback Thursday.
I celebrate it by throwing back a mixed drink. TPBM always wanted a sugar glider but fears it isn't meant to be.
When I think about that sugar gliders, I think about how squirrels and other small rodents can be carriers of the bubonic plague. TPBM hates it when small animals choose to cross the road directly in front of their car.
It's even more heartbreaking when they get hit. :(If TPBM plays with Legos, he or she likes to mix and match Bionicle limbs to create new warriors.
No, not as of yet. So far, I've had tea and a croissant for breakfast, planning to have fish for lunch, and then go to a friend's house tonight, which probably translates to pizza. Not much room for a kohlrabi salad today.TPBM has started a new TV show on Netflix recently.
Yes! I had a delicious leftover hodgepodge.TPBM likes roasted vegetables with olive oil salt and pepper.
My mom and step-dad do most of the gardening. I don't really like bending over or kneeling down to plant something since it's painful.TPBM enjoys rubbing dead skin cells off when swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub.
I avoid both pools and hot tubs, so I have no idea if I do or do not.TPBM enjoys the pungent smell of ocean beach.
Indeed I do. The beach in general is a lovely place to be, so any scent that reminds me of such will put me in my happy zone.TPBM enjoys the mental health benefits of exercising.
Absolutely! Whenever I haven't exercised in a while, I can feel it in my mood and my inability to focus. TPBM loves how watching rain fall from a cloud on the horizon lets you see the edges of the storm.
Seeing as how a few days ago I got rained on during my walk home from the convenience store, I'm not a huge fan of storms. Sorry.TPBM enjoys banana nut muffins.
Yes, but cinnamon and lemon muffins are my favorite. I wish I was better at making them.TPBM is amused when they see enormously muscled men walking tiny, fluffy dogs.
I just got the mental image of Brock Lesnar walking a schipperke and it's amusing indeed. Hehe!TPBM is a geek and accepts being one.
I've been home all day except for when I walked to the convenience store to get Powerade Zeros and caught a ride from my best friend Susan to McDonald's. Powerade Zero and McDonald's food: the ultimate hypocrisy. Hehe! Most of TPBM’s household chores involve heavy lifting.
When Nacho bit me and the wound was healing, it was really itchy. So yes, I'm not a fan of that sensation. One of TPBM’s favorite movies is Clerks.
Nope. Instead of seeing a dentist, I'm going to a Cavalera Conspiracy conert in Seattle on Friday. Maybe I can get some dental work done in the mosh pit. Hehe! When writing poetry, TPBM uses a rhyme scheme.
Sounds like it could be fun every now and then.Whenever TPBM eats broccoli, he or she likes to pour melted cheese all over it.
Hopefully, I'll be able to keep Nacho and Luna. They're too sweet to give away.TPBM is a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise.
No FF? I'm sad for you, Nadia.I loved the movie but I haven't read the book. Yet.
TPBM wishes they sold peanut brittle in stores year round.
