Rachel-RN (rachelgoodbyeborders) | 1368 comments We might have to read fast this week- right now we are the only ones, but Team 5 hasn't drawn yet and they could be in the running with us if they get a red, blue, or orange.

Judithe | 6566 comments We didn't...disappointing!

Board stats, went there before trying to find my book (still haven't but will, asap)

As Rachel said...

So far, we are the only team in the end zone. Team 5 was on square 134 last week, and they haven't posted reviews/card on the movement thread, yet. So, we could be in a tie with them, meaning we need to get reading, fast! (And post the reviews...not like I'm personally guilty of last week...finishing my book on Sunday, posting on the following Saturday night...sorry!!!)

ETA, it looks like they're missing a review or two, but not 100% sure, so let's get reading!!

Silly question perhaps, but what exactly is a "cozy mystery"?

Wikipedia can explain it better than I can:

Right now just us, BUT team 5 could have a chance (3 out of the 6 colors would give them a chance to win), but they haven't drawn yet (and are still waiting for 1 review)

message 314: by [deleted user] (new)

Team 5 has chosen and is also on red ... Same as us, and competing for the chance to win!!! So team, try to read fast and post your reviews as soon as you can.... Go!Go!Go!

Space: 136-->past 138 for the win!

Date finished: 4/7/13

Thoughts:
I read the first in this series a couple of weeks ago for Fantasyland. The first was a little lacking for me, but I enjoyed the world and set up enough to take the plunge for number two.

It was worth it. A true rating would be a 3.5, but the amount of development, and much smoother scene transitions made it a much better read.

Charity has found her true love, Link, and, with the support and accompaniment of her family, they are off for a Vegas wedding. The baddie is unexpected enough to give a thrill, and the changes to Charity promise more interesting stories to come.

I'll keep reading this series.

Gregori is a character I liked because I liked his sense of humor. However, I wasn't sure would do as a leading character in his own book. I was pleasantly surprised! A favorite quote- "Do you want a donut?" (Howard). New baddies in this one (they might not be new- it's been forever since I've read the previous books in this series- Master Han has a familiar ring to it). Will see how next book plays out (and I won't wait so long to start it)

REVIEW:

This book was surprisingly fun... I'm not really a fan of complete romance-only books... But this is a total exception. The language of the book was also good and it was easy to read. The setting of the book was also fun..Michael, Penelope, Tommy, Chase, Cross were all loveable characters.
Enjoyed this book a lot...

Review:
I found this book a little disturbing, but also really good at the same time. The story was really engaging making wanting to know what will happen next. I'm glad the murderer is no longer around to do any more damage to innocent people because that person was CRAZY INSANE!

Disfruta de la noche (Dark-Hunter, #7) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Dark Hunter novel #6
completed 4/9/13
rating 4.5♥

Review: What to say...with each new book from this series I just love it more and more. So many interesting characters. Interesting how you dislike a character in another book and then in their book you see what they are really all about! Tabby and Valerius' book was wonderful. Will be starting #7 soon!!

Nici (queennici102) | 697 comments I finished The Madness Underneath (Shades of London, #2) by Maureen Johnson on 4/11 and give it five stars. Love this book and the series too. The end is a real cliff hanger, I can't wait to pick up the next book. It's really well written and fast pace
