I finished mine last night, and will get the review up in the morning (Sat morning)...SORRY! Happy news...last class day of the semester was TODAY! Grades to be totaled (and LOTS of hours into that this week already...ugh!), BUT it is SPRING BREAK! (More reading time!)
Happier news...son PASSED! First high school entrance exam down. One more to go, then choice (hopefully, he'll have to choose between two, but he's into one school at least! RELIEF!!!)
Sorry for worries over unposted review, but swear it will be up tomorrow. Tired brain has run out of any more words for now!

Wow - Spring Break already. Ours is end of March - seems very far away.
Congrats to your son on the exam results and good luck for the next one!
i finished Confessions of a Werewolf Supermodel on February 2 and give it four stars. I started this book thinking it was a stand a lone book, not a series, which i haven't read for a long time. However, since I finished it there are still a lot of unanswered questions in the story line that I would like to see resolved. Guess I am going to have to look again to see if it is in a series. Over all, it was a fun and quick read that i enjoyed a lot. I liked the world and the character building, but like I said, it left a lot of unanswered questions.

Nici, it was going to be a series but this was one of the last books Ronda Thompson wrote before she died in 2007.

This is the 3rd book in the Jane Yellowrock series. Jane is happily enjoying her romance, and has decided to make her move to New Orleans more permanent, as her contract is continuing with Leo, and her boyfriend is there.
Things get crazy when the Mercy Blade shows up, along with a pack of very disgruntled werewolves. Then, the African werecats make their coming-out announcement, quite interesting for Jane and Beast, both. There are plots within plots, and many tangled threads to the past that leave our heroine confused as she tries to figure out what the hell is going on, and how to save Rick who's undercover assignment with the weres has taken a bad twist. It's quite an exciting read, with lots of hint-crumbs along the way, leading up to a dramatic finish. The very last page delivers a gotta-read-the-next-book-now shocker...and instead of writing my review, I rushed off to buy the next book in the series. Very happy to know there are several more in the series waiting for me!
 Thanks, all!
Thanks, all!Our spring break is the end of the school year (new one starts in April), and university finishes earlier. Kids still have about a month left...I'm looking forward to slow mornings with leisurely coffee sipping....*grin*

Well, okay, pleasantly surprised that this book turned out to have a plot. Mainly because the very first sentence opens with sex; actually the whole first chapter is one big sex party. I don't think I care enough about the characters to read future books in series.
I didn't like that the men (panther) were okay to live without their mate, while the women would die if they were to meet theirs and their mate leave them prematurely. Secondly the change to panther for the women was only brought on by exposure to their mate's semen. Talk about female empowerment/independence. One thing I did like- Jaclyn was a sexual being and made no apologies for it.
Glad I went with this one- got
from library today and cover is definitely more red now that I have it in hand.

Review:
There is not much to say without giving away any spoilers in this review. This is the last book in this trilogy series and I'm sad that it has ended. I've loved these books since the beginning. Although, I was unhappy with who Clara ended up with in the end, I think the author did a nice a nice job in wrapping things up!

before you dive into the last book because basically you won't know some of the info that is going on at first, but it was not a problem for me Now, I'll read the novella next!

This is the 5th in the Otherworld series about the three D'Artigo sisters, half-human, half-fae, and covering a range of other supernaturals on top of that. This book focuses on Delilah (we seem to rotate one book per sister in terms of POV), who is a werecat as well. The sisters are continuing their quest to find the seals before the demons can grab them, and make it, literally, hell on earth.
Delilah runs into some issues with her boyfriend, her master, the Autumn Lord and some nasty demons, as in wickedly evil and some that are just disgusting. Overall, Delilah and her sisters emerge triumphant, and are finally assured of their father's fate (a worry that's been hanging over their heads for a couple of books).
These are fun books, and I'm looking forward to Menolly's next.
      Finished mine !!!

REVIEW:
I loved this book... Another strong heroine. Yet, she is decidedly human, and unlike many books, doesn't fight or use swords. The whole book kept me glued. The fae politics and war is engrossing. And, though this book contains yet another love triangle- Kyol and Aren, I think it was handled well...
McKenzie is one of the best shadow readers. She helps the fae court track the rebels who are false-bloods and cause a lot of destruction,at least so she thought, until she is kidnapped by those rebels who are under the guidance of Aren. Aren slowly makes her doubt the court, and she is unsure which side is good side, and which is not.
Definitely a great book and a promising new series.

This is the second book in this series and revolves around Viper and the Sharlott,Shay that was introduced at the end of book #1. Viper ends up "buying" Shay at an auction from the Troll that holds her curse and an amulet that transfers to Viper allowing him to call her to his side whenever he wishes. However, someone or something more powerful than Viper wants her as well or more acurately wants her blood.

on 2/15 and loved it! I give it five stars, without a doubt. It was one of those books I hated to put down, even for a moment. The other book i was reading this week was the same way, so I was annoyed that RL kept cramping my reading lol. I love this entire series and find the world to be captivating. The labyrinth in the middle was so interesting.

Review:
I've read the Nightshade series before and really liked it so when I heard the author was coming out with a prequel series, I had to read it. This prequel series takes place before the Nightshade series. The story was slow going at first, but it got more interesting as I read more the book. There were characters that I really despised as well like Ember's father who was a selfish jerk and the Abbott who only cared about money and himself although he got his just desserts. I'll definitely read book two that only just came out last month whenever I can get my hands on it because I'm curious to see what happens next with these characters!
