I love the style of the narrative in Inherit the Stars. (I'm thinking of things like during a kiss, there's a line about chasing the dawn into her hair, things like that.) What inspires the amazing imagery? Also... when when WHEN can we expect to see Inherit the Stars #2?? :D

Tessa Elwood so Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi blew my mind. the stream of consciousness was amazing, and i swear there was one scene that was the hottest thing ever—a…moreso Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi blew my mind. the stream of consciousness was amazing, and i swear there was one scene that was the hottest thing ever—and they didn't even kiss. reading that was like getting a permissions slip to explore emotion on that level in my genre. as for specific images...that's just in the writing. what the character would say, or driven by the tone of the scene or a specific emotion. so i guess it's inspired by the characters themselves? book #2 is with my editor now, and should come out around this time next year! it's different, but i like it. or love it, ya know. a lot of interesting parallels and contrasts.(less)
