His professional journey across aeronautics, digital systems, innovation ecosystems, and the philosophy of memory informs both the architecture and depth of his storytelling.
His debut collection, Paper Moons & Mango Trees : Stories of Indian Hearts, released on 15 August 2025 through Amazon KDP and major international digital platforms including Kobo Plus, Everand, Tolino, Apple Books, Vivlio, and Barnes & Noble, introduced fifteen evocative stories set between 1975 and 2025. Moving through forgotten lanes of Fatehpur, monsoon-lit courtyards of Kasauli, Bhagalpur teashops, and railway crossings in Kalinganj, the book offered a cinematic blend of nostalgia, quiet grace, and the emotional textures of everyday life.
His second book, Ledger of Little Revolutions: 30 Tales of Laughter, Grace & Gentle Wisdom, marks a deepening of his literary signature. These thirty stories illuminate the unsung gestures of humanity a gardener who heals quarrels with flowers, a librarian whose umbrella returns with secrets, a ferryman who keeps his lamp burning a little longer, and teachers, artisans, tailors, spice traders, and carpenters whose smallest acts alter the course of a day. Spanning Kolkata to Srinagar, Jaipur to Tezpur, Aizawl to Munnar, the collection transforms ordinary kindness into an enduring architecture of hope.
Much of Sushovon’s inspiration rises from hostel camaraderie, riverside silences, childhood journeys across India, and friendships nurtured over kulhads of chai and long winding roads. When not writing, he explores digital memory systems, legacy technologies, and the contemplative art of observing life without hurry. Yet it is through fiction that he returns again and again to the luminous ordinary, where the smallest human moment can become a revolution of the heart.
