Before the Incal (Avant l'Incal) is a sequel series comprised of three volumes, part of The Incal Saga. It was published by Les Humanoïdes Associés between 2008 and 2014, it follows the story of John DiFool after the events depicted in The Incal. Final Incal is more serious and epic in tone, and blends elements of fantasy and science fiction.
