Pather Panchali (পথের পাঁচালী) is a series of two novels written by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. This series depicts the childhood, education and early maturity of a young Bangali boy named Apu (Apurba Kumar Roy) in the early years of the 20th century.
