Rosali Penunuri grew up in Southern California with a huge family in a tiny home. She would daydream about escaping reality and having something all her own. This led to storytelling and, eventually, writing. She moved across the country after graduating from college with a B.A. in English Literature.

She lives with her husband and daughters; their troublemaker dogs Sam and Dean, and a small cat army.
