"Red Planet" is up there with "Between Planets" for me. I agree: it's a good one. I successfully used "Red Planet" to lure my son away from Harry Potter back when he was eight or so. (Not that there was anything wrong with H.P.)
Denis, as it turns out, that's the next one I'm doing with the kids! Just started it with them. (The older one loves Harry Potter too.)
