Hear hear! (This read was anything but "superficial" or a mere "skimming" of the events of that summer... And thank you for not boring me to tears with a long written display of your knowledge of the topic, as some other reviewers here felt was necessary - anyone who picks up this book to begin with, probably has somewhat more than a "grammar school" education of this time period.) I took this book for what it was, not about providing any new information on an subject exhausted by scholars, but to gain a fresh perspective on a very human experiment. This book completely satisfied my expectations. Thanks for your review.
