I didn't read the timetraveler's wife. I heard that she got $3-5 million for this book, which is always a risk with second books because unlike the first one the author has to write it much faster. Maybe the next book will be much better.
I did knock off an entire star for that ending/decision. It was insanely absurd. But it was a nice book overall. :)
i like the premise of this book & i loved an interview with the author i heard on radio about how she chose the elements & setting for her story. i never read TTTW- the hoopla put me off, which happens...
So, trusting that i will forget Brooke's discreet revelations, i might get ornery & read this one ;->
