I feel that the 1st book doesnt meet my expectation, but you said it improved a lot and ot of people been saying good things about the second book or the trilogy as a whole. I need to read this book soon...

Yeah, I found book 1 to be ok, but book 2 was much better. If you get around to it, I hope you’ll enjoy it!
