Bridgett I just finished this book and agree with you. I felt like somehow the topics were drawn out but had no depth to them. Reading your review I realized that probably had something to do with all the "tools" and lack of theological teaching. I am going to look into the book you suggested.

Tiffany Thank you - I was a bit concerned that the lack of theological basis might be the case. It's a lot worrisome, too, that there's no presentation of the gospel. Won't spend the time reading it, but will look into the book you recommended. :)

Elle White Well, this is helpful! And thanks for the recommendations. 👍🏻

Trinette This book was given to me as a gift so I feel obligated to read it but I am only two chapters in and I completely agree with your review. The book is poorly written and scattered. So far there is very little emphasis on our sin problem but instead sounds more like a pep talk from a motivational speaker with a few Bible verses thrown in. I will look into the other books you suggested.
