i think those quotes explain by themselves the chaos that is in jason's and aza's mind due to the ocd and other things we might not know. i personally related so much to this story, it isn't a simple novel, but it's chaos and for the first time you see something that is close to your reality, and is not only for the "normal" people. if you keep in mind that this story focuses a lot on what happens when you have ocd, adhd or possible autism, it can even help in understanding those people irl.
