I really enjoyed reading your review. I feel you in so many ways about this book, way too long, not enough "story", and some of the characters are just too plain to be part of a superhero book. Better luck next book I guess

😫 maybe I should read renegades first then? I own the lunar chronicles except stars above, as well as renegades. Renegades looks intimidatingly long for someone who’s still in a book slump. STILL!

a month ago was when I could read my last book; I went through the entire GrishaVerse in like 2 weeks lol and the very last book I read was Crookes Kingdom obvs. 😭 but yeah I’ve made it to page 3 I think of Cinder bc I just cannot focus; I’m not sure what’s wrong with me. I think I may be dying lol.
But what is your opinion? I really need something to take root & get me going again. I think the lunar chronicles will it’s just a matter of powering through
NOTE: this slump does not incl. Alice’s Adventure’s in Wonderland bc it isn’t in the same category as the rest of the world of literature for me, haha.
You shouldn't give something a higher rating because gay people are in it. In fact forcing this upon writers is what makes for bland characters esp since gay people cannot be portrayed in a realistic light. Gay people = good. Stories with less white people = goos.
